It's been around for a couple of years already, and yes...it's quite the underrated jewel. I have a feeling these cars will be very sought after in the future. It packs awesome styling, a lot of technology, good power, yet it has that outstanding Lexus reliability, so I guess it's a hell of a win-win situation. ☺

Y'know, I just realized, alot of these super powerful V8 cars, most likely due to the ZF transmission behavior, end up having such smooth shifts that there's no 'pause' as it changes gears like the LC. It kinda reminds me alot of manual muscle cars as far as the sound is concerned, and if anything, it makes me love the LC 500 even more. All the awesome V8 theatre of the Hemi Challengers and Mustang GTs, with none of the compromises (save for storage) of either. (I'd still love a Challenger those cars are freakin' awesome too. Manual, preferably).

They only differ when the LC500 cabrio came out then they shifted to a modified system which is bent slightly differently to clear the structural crossbars on the convertible model

I personally think that lexus should consider replacing their rcf with this car in their pursuit of gt3 racing. The lc500 also has big dislacement v8 engine that's fitted in a smaller body and has lower ground clearance unlike the rcf that's bulky
