One of my cooling fans quit working.... Do I have to remove the whole radiator to change the fan or can I just remove the fan assembly while radiator is still in place? Also can I just change one fan motor or do I have to replace the whole damn fan assembly?

wouldnt it be wise to pre-fill the radiator transmission cooli9ng section so there is no "air-gap"?

Does the automatic transmission fluid need to be drained to do this?
@FunkyMechanic11 жыл бұрын
No need to do that as the transmission fluid only flows through when the engine is running. Have a good 2014.

Thanks for a great video. What about the quality of radiator? The prices vary. Online I see them as low as $68. Is there radiators to avoid?

Delayed response... the one I installed averages about $100. Review the description above (show more) with links to PartsTrain & AutoPartsWarehouse.

They are most likely not oem or remanufactured so with that its a 50 50 oem will usually cost more but most the time with car parts its the labor thats expensive now days you can almost find a video for most basic diy installations

So far my research says there is no easy way to do this without involving the dealer and some cash. Good luck.

You shook the camera & swung the camera back & forth like a friggin pendulum all over the place, yet never really seeing anything. Gave my headache watching. So not cool that you didn't do steady close ups.
