I understand the argument that it is surprising to see fixed running boards when the competition offers power retractable.....EXCEPT.....This car is built and marketed to have offroad capabilities and my guess (and I've heard a few times) that in order to maintain the impressing fording depth rating, Lexus would have to completely seal up the moving parts needed to make the running boards retract. Those parts are obviously designed to get wet in the rain and snow, but those running boards on the Escalades and Navigators are not built to be submerged underwater and making them capable of that would likely be costly. I suppose they could make it an option, but those moving parts are also potential problems later on and Longterm durability is another selling point the LX is marketed for. Either way, Lexus buyers probably won't let the fixed boards stop them from buying it.

What most reviewers are missing is..think Range Rover. You don't look at the back of a range and compare it to a Escalade or Surburban, no most dont. What Lexus could have done better is pr wise explaining this. Lexus nailed it, I love the truck. Good video.

Why metal in the back and aluminum everywhere else? Don’t get it. It’s an odd looking vehicle, but I like the inside quiet of the cabin. Interesting Lexus. Looking forward to that hill video!

I don’t know why the suv need 0-60 mph (100kp/h)time identifier . It’s an suv not not an LFA or IS-F 500lmao . Does everyone on the internet think that people will drive an suv on the Suzuka race track (super gt) for 6 hours lol ..

I wish lexus took a page out of audis playbook and made the instrument cluster a virtual cockpit where you can see your routes and maps. That's my only complaint with this car... also no heads up display for a 100k+ car.

Decent interior. But unless you REALLY need the room, a Porsche Cayenne Turbo would be about the same price and MUCH more fun to actually Drive.

I love Lexus LX but iam disappointed interior is outdated & tired 😴 no panoramic roof 😢 gearlever is old as well. Top screen was taken from old UX or ES. Why LX has no split gate 😮 Ranger rover and Mercedes GLE are more premium & plush interior 🔥 👌

@@TexasTruckChannel yes .. im Being harsh.. but someone has to… man to man are u paying 900 a month at 60 grand for this.. hell to the no… it’s a fail on many levels.. AND I ONLY DRIVE LEXUS.. I drive a gx currently.. this is trash compared to the gx
