I sent my amplifier to OEM Auto Audio Inc. out of Manlius, NY. They fixed it in a day and it's been working perfectly. This video would have come in handy with the removal process!

Thanks for the compliment. If you are getting static you would have to be more specific as it could be an antenna issue. It would not be an amplifier going out because you still have sound. However, you can also sometimes get what is referred to engine noise with an aftermarket amplifier but not typically a factory installed one. Hope this helps

@@jasonateam The sound is a loud thud, like : "pugghhghghgggghhgh" the radio suddenly stopped playing and it was a loud base--like-sound. Will check the antenna. Otherwise I will take it in to get diagnosed as you suggested. If I do happen to need an amplifier, do you have one? where are you located? I am in Mid-City Los Angeles, CA.

Jason..... Please help.. my Lexus RC 350 F Sport does not have any sound from radio or CD player. Took it to the Lexus dealer (they checked the car out) and they said it is the Amplifier. I need one. Hey Gary, I am sorry we don't carry the replacement parts for the amplifiers. At one point I thought we were going to stock these but we don't carry them. I recommend checking for preowned replacements and once you remove yours, you will get the exact part number or you can call a Lexus dealership to get your exact part replacement number and do your search! Jason 2020 RX350. I changed the battery and everything went crazy. About a week later things started to work again. The radio loses sound from time to time. It comes back on but may be an hour or two weeks. Any idea

It is probably your amplifier starting to go out just taking its time or perhaps a lose connection somewhere

Hey Jason: Thanks for the Great Video, well done informative and well illustrated. Just starting to deep dive my issue. No sound AM/FM only... Everything else working. It is a 2017 RX 350 with Mark Levinson package. Issue is..... not sure if it's a glitchy AMP or the Electronics are blown. Any thoughts? If proves to be AMP I would like to use your services for replacement... just not sure what is wrong yet. Thanks for any help or feedback. On/OFF button reboot solves issue 2 out of 5 attempts.... Pete, thanks for watching. Couple things I would recommend checking is your antenna both on the vehicle and also the actual antenna cable into the back of the radio. I would also check to see if your vehicle might have an update you can perform. If all of that is good it more than likely would be the amplifier. You can always pay the dealership a diagnostic fee to tell you exactly what is wrong and then see if it is something you would be comfortable repairing yourself to save you money. That way you don't have to guess. Hope this helps. Thanks

Hi Jason. 2010 RX 350 which the battery was drained one time when running cell phone and electronics on the 12V battery receptacle , requiring a jump to restart. Afterwards, when I restart I hear an audio “clunk” but no sound. Tried disconnecting battery to “reset” but did not work. No signs of inadequate battery at 5 yrs old, but car starts right up every time etc.Everything else works. Any ideas? Did I kerchunk it with the jump?Thanks.

I would check your fuse. More than likely that could be it. It is rare to mess something up with a jump although it is still possible.

That does sound like a fuse. If not you may need to replace both of them. The mouse is not that hard to swap

@@jasonateam yea I was mistaken. It does sound like the sos speaker was coming from a cheaper speaker tucked away somewhere. I’m assuming with its own power source for emergency purposes.

Could be an issue with your bluetooth audio where you need to check your phone and make sure it is checked for audio as well as phone or the input on the radio itself. For FM only thing I can think of is possibly an antenna issue.
