Wow! Genuinely surprised at how easy you made this. My 17 Tahoe Z71 kept chirping as I would drive and self-navigate through the screen and changing radio stations constantly. Never would've been able to do it (or have the courage to try to do it) without this video. HUGE thanks! I bought a replacement screen instead of just the digitizer which made it even easier.

Great job on the step by step video! I was able to replace the screen (bought the entire screen assembly)on my 2018 Tahoe. Worked perfectly. Don’t have to deal with a glitchy screen display anymore. DIY.

Cut the wires one at a time. Airbag wires are in that bunch.

I had a mechanic break the embilical cord from radio to screen so ended up replacing cue system succesfully but my radio bezel with the 3 functioning lights/buttons (ie glove box button, pedals etc) on either side of Cue no longer function-these include on right side the glove box button ...these have simple cable connection for each so what could possibly be causing these not to work ? fuse ? firmware ?

I ordered and installed in my CX-5. The video is great and I found the repair to be very easy if you follow along and pay attention. Only issue I have is that the touchscreen doesn’t function. I can navigate fine with the command knob on the console but wonder if it’s an issue with the ribbon installation or just a defective digitizer?

My audio plays when I put in a CD, and take calls or make them. But I can't play any KZbin or listen to FM what's going on ?

I have a Mazda cx5 2021. The screen appears to be working But when I use my connector knob to Navigate the screen nothing works. We have tried to change the connector knob and CMU That neither fixed it. Any ideas.What could be wrong?

Jason, I live in Las Vegas, how close are you to me? My vehicle was stored outside for 27 months in the heat. This is my first vehicle & infotainment is pretty much doing what it wants. I’m 60+ not sure I can perform this on my own.

Have you messed with anything from the 2008-13 model touch screens? I picked up a 2012 Denali for a great price. The touch screen works but does not sense ANY touch. All the physical buttons work, the sound and inputs work, the steering wheel controls work. Just the touch function is dead. Very hard to find any videos, or forum discussions on those year models lol.

The comments I see from some are exactly how I feel. 25 bucks and she’s like new! I suck at this stuff so you did very good with the instructions. We made it a Fathers Day weekend and now I have a new radio! Thank you. 2019 Suburban

Great video. Only issue was with putting the ribbon back through the slot. It is very tricky and does not fit well. We tore our first one, had to order another screen. Still much much cheaper than taking it to a shop. Thanks guys!
