Hi ! How does it go after months, did you buy it and travel with it ? After 24+ years traveling with my T3 Syncro , mostly full time, now I'm stuck with it, because I can't do a full restoration as it should, so I'm looking for alternatives to be on the road again. Reliability is my number one priority and definitely have to be relatively cheap & 4x4 ! Recently I've discovered this model and consider to sleep in it , or towing something custom made. So I'm curious how was your experience from this point of view, if you made it. ✌️

Made me feel a lot better about the condition of my '01 model. Same white color, but, from what I've come to realize, the interior has held up really well through the years. Ended up here after watching crash test footage because I was curious to see how my old grandma car would fare in a crash. Mine also has a wheel with wood and leather accents, which I thought was standard, but I guess must be an extra feature for a lil more money. These babies were about $37,000 when they came out, something around $65,000 in today's money. You can tell they're built for luxury. Both front seats electric(and heated), that screen up front that even newer cars didn't get. My brother has an '07 Dodge Caliber, and it's nowhere near as fancy (or comfy, scratchy seats imo) as the Lexus. Glad I got the 4 wheel drive model, the extra power to the wheels suits my "hurry up and get to speed" kinda driving. Neat to know it can do this stuff, but I don't think I could do that to Lexi (my car lmao).

Common issue with these cars are the transmissions going out if the fluid isn’t changed every 100k. Fairly expensive as most units are about. 3k used not including labor. I used to have a 99 RX300 and besides the transmission the power door lock actuators are a common issue. Other than that it ran fine for being 13 years old and 150k miles.
@arefeshghi5 жыл бұрын
It is a cross-over. Also, in the comments it was mentioned the transmission fails if the t-oil is not changed every 100k! Usually you have to change it every 60000kms (40k miles) even in cars that claim they have lifetime t-oil! I know of BMWs, Audis and Mercedes cars having to replace the transmission because of not changing the transmission oil/ fluid.
