I've got the exact same thing on my Toshiba laptop its been there for about 3 years, my laptop is 5 yrs old.. and as always it happened after the warranty ran out.... Toshiba said it would cost me approx $250 to replace the screen and it's not worth it to me to do that.. so I just keep it and use it.

just recently bought one HP pavilion 15 amd A8 with 8gb ram 2gb AMD radeon GPU with some nice specs for like $80 but the price was due to to mainly 3 penny sized black holes and some lines above on the screen pannel, didn't matter much to me cause i'm usually having HDMI output connected so i i couldn't care less, a nice find, but i think is irreparable when LCD black liquid spills like this only changing the pannel can fix it. this could happen by expore to all kinds of user damage

U probably need to replace your lcd,if dead pixels appear in your lcd screen u need to buy a new one. No matter how you remove them,they will still come back.

@Memeboy 2001 I know it , its because of water or maybe damage to the display. Well anyway I got a new monitor cause it annoyed me. Hope you get rid of it. I suggest like trying to put your finger gently next to it and try to push it out of the display , warning its a risk , it may cause it to be bigger , just becarefull.

You need to gently rub it to the closest end of the screen. I may not have explained it well but if you search it up, you will get videos on people getting rid of it
