The video is so educational and can definitely help every foreign visitor. I really love it. The only thing I can say is the right-hand-side escalator rule. Actually, the Taipei MRT company officially removed this recommendation from their service several years ago already. People still do this because it's how it used to be for decades. The Taipei MRT removed it because this type of behavior damages the escalators due to the long-time imbalance usage and may break some parts of the system. Therefore, it's totally fine if you want to stand on the left-hand side of an escalator.

我住中部,偶爾才上台北,感覺歐亞力比我更熟悉台北捷運。我現在偶爾坐台北公車或是捷運,都是透過 google map 規畫公車路線,google map 對我這種偶爾使用的人幫助很大,感恩。

I think she shouldn’t worry too much about language, like everything in the Metro has two languages English and Chinese so it’s really helpful for foreigners.
So unfortunate that she doesn’t want to try new things because she doesn’t want to look stupid. People are so friendly in Taiwan. If she has any questions, anyone would be more than happy to help. Also, if you live in a big city in US like NYC then you would be use to ride in a crowded subway. She must not have lived in a big city in US
Lmao, when she said that the map of Taipei MRT looks very complicated, I laughed because the Taipei MRT map is nothing compared to the complexity and sheer size of Tokyo rail network, and it’s even more confusing because you do not only have Metro but you have JR lines and a bunch of privately owned rail lines. I wonder how she would react when she sees the railway map of Tokyo.

Well cant you tell she is the type of woman who doesnt like subways at all?😂
When she said there were no rats on the Taipei MRT I laughed out loud because this just shows that America is so backwards compared to countries like Taiwan.

Taipei metro: A+ 👍👍👍 Kaohsiung metro: B The Kaohsiung MRT offers services similar to those of the Taipei MRT, but many people in Kaohsiung do not adhere to the rules.😢

If subway stations prohibit eating, there will be no rats.
