AFAIK they wanted actually to get Wist for this episode but the actress wasn't available, so they remade that character to Lyekka. Lyekka is basically Wist 2.0

Interesting! I actually like it as is. I think them remaining that calm around Wist would make zero sense.

@@StrangeandBeautifulNetwork I don't think it would've been 1-to-1 episode with Wist. But it's all therewith Lyekka/Wist links, could make copies of bodies, made another Zev in season one, eats people, weird alien. Even, as you said, the initial costume
