I’m very new and I went into a pvp zone for the first time yesterday. Thanks for the hints, very interesting video! As a veteran player, started playing from day one on April 2019, my hint for this topic is: If you ever want to loose your fear of full loot PVP in A.O., WHENEVER SOMEONE COMES TO GANK YOU JUMP AT THEM FIRST. Don't think about it, just attack them. You'll be surprised how so many gankers, no matter how much stronger they are will totally panick and try to run away, at least as a first reaction. This will break you fear by proving to you all humans are scared to a point, no matter how good or powerful they are. Now, BEFORE anything else, some observations: 1 - DON'T wast money on fancy mounts. Mounts don't give you any fighting power. They just look pretty. Get good on a mule, it's my all time favorite. If you can avoid danger on a simple mule, you will be driving (riding) really well when the time is right for you to do so on a proper mount. Save your fancy mounts if you wish for when you walk around safe areas. 2 - Don't go berserk/camikaze on expensive equipment. USE T4.1 and a mule or T3 horse until you fully spec your gear /400 +. If you die, you'll loose 15 000 silver. That's it. If you kill your ganker, you'll might make 200 000 +. So you risk 15, he risks 200. Who's winning? You don't need expensive gear to clear T6, 7, 8 maps once you spec at least a set to 100/50. You can do it on the most basic gear. And thats it.

what i dont like about full loot pvp that, most times, its never 1v1, they always come in groups, and that's just sad on them, they use crappy gear that you can spank them, but they're never alone.

I did dungeon and gathering and never really did the pvp until 2 days ago. I've been giving this content a try because it something I've never done before. Honestly most of my fear has gone away (which got me killed, never lose your fear for the black zone, just don't let it rule you). The reward compared to risk is just too high. Im a big noob btw. I do fibre gathering mainly. I stayed in my safe zone so long im 50 on the destiny board for hemp.

Usually I make a goal like I buy T4.1 cheap gear, like buy orders (or not), I usually spend 100k and after make more 100k with that gear I mentally mark this gear as paid by itself and I am okay loosing it xD, so If I get 500k with corrupted dungeon I am okay just buying 200k of gear just to have my heart beating faster and have more adrenaline in my body xDD, nice tips you gave, I wish I had watched it before I would not had gotten down other times.

To be honest, the loadout system they introduced makes the full-loot system way less frustrating and time consuming. The main gripe I had with Full-Loot was just how much of a hassle it was just gear up again... It wasn't what I lost that made me feel like crap, but how I had to spend SO MUCH time just re-equipping my gear-set. Now though... gear feels exactly like your described, just fancy consumables that you can afford to lose. Before it was like: "uuuuugh, I got killed again, lemme spend about 10 whole minutes just to gear up so I can try... AGAIN." Now it's just like: "Aw I got killed... oh well, lemme just go back to my storage and click 3 buttons real quick to get myself up and running again"

That's a fine strategy. My weakness hasn't been so much a fear of loss, as much a loss in self confidence to defend against other players. I need to be able to prove to myself that I can hold my own against others. In non-full loot pvp games, my contribution usually comes from helping others take people down or taking my opponent out with me... point is, I often get k.o'ed even when I "win." In a full loot scenario, that is gonna leave me at a loss.

I stopped playing albion over a year ago cause after 250 hours i got bored of doing the same stuff, I was a "merchant" just log in sell stuff, buy new stuff and log out till the next day, I was both scared and annoyed with the full loot pvp cause evertime i got killed while gathering in black zones really frustrated me so i stopped doing it, now i am thinking about coming back for a while to see what has changed (even more after seeing some new stuff in this video that i really wanted before) so i will try this technique and maybe i will be able to find peace with the pvp system that i know its like 70% of the content in this game

If u lost 6mil in ome day it probably means whatever content ur doing is probably a bit too advanced for u at the moment, for example if ur loosing all slayer corrupted dungeon games its probably better to first get a 70% win rate in stalker with cheap sets and then jump into slayer and u wont lose 6mil but win 6mil

well the problem is not the items you lose. its the time you spend grinding those items in dungeons and some bitchass gankers kill you and enjoy the loot you grinded for like 3 hours or something.So i have a tip for the people that actually got pissed of cause of the time spend than the silver lost. Dont go in full loot dungeon runs for more than an hour. or until you make around 200-300k. trust me taht way its a lot easier when you die. you wont get hurt that much. dont be the dude who grinds for 3 hours with almost a 1 mil on him(me) that dies to gankers after. Also a dude from my guild lost a mammoth to gankers yesterday and the idiot didnt mount it he held it in his bag while wearing full t8 gear(a treat for gankers that didnt even know he had a mamoth on him). 170mil down the drain he said he quitting the game. i know i would.

Actually an amazing video and advice. I've just started to learn to die haha. Although the experience off getting 400k in 15 mins solo in roads and making it back safely was worth the 200k I lost in sets haha (died twice) much better content helping people experience the game. Than making people feel like they best stick to t5 yellows lol

Leyvi made a good point about pre buying sets. Having a bunch of sets ready is great. I made my best Friend buy 5 sets 4.1 and i did the same Total price was around 400 k.( 10 sets )After we lost the sets we also earned about 5 mil (on the roads) fearing high Gear players is like fearing a black belt in sports and not starting because of that. Today we got 2 kills zero profit tho because we met a few black belts after we killed some one xD And lost 3 sets. But last session we made about 2 mil in 20 min. You win some and lose some but when u get used to it you Will see sets as content. No Shame in playing yellow for the chill game play but Grand youreself the trill for as cheap as 40 k ;)

I´ve actually never been affraid of losing my stuff, but how i allways lost in general. Back in the day, when server haven´t been this crowded i was fine with moving to RZ and BZ. Sometimes i lost and most of the time i lost because of my ping issue (245+) which i didn´t recognize at first and i just thought im plain bad in pvp. All of my guildies didn´t seem to have a problem with killing players. Now my ping is allright but it´s kind of burned into my brain that even a CD-YellowZone encounter makes my heart racing in an unpleasent way. I hope im getting over it one time :P

i earned millions using your advice. thanks. whenever i get loot, i store only equippable items in the banks and sold the rest i even raised horses from my farm so i can still have mount to use whenever i die to a ganker and im pretty doing the PvE aspect whenever i am alone i never do PvP as many toxic players trying to bait new players into going into red and black zones just to get ganks which are not cool and the worst thing they can do as PvP aspect. PvP in general are toxic after all they even bully players in yellow zone which are supposed to be safe but not. I still dont get why toxic players are bullying gatherers in yellow zone so i stopped gathering and just proceed to do Red dungeons instead ever since big guilds "own" the black zone which is not cool either and even trying to recruit players making them so toxic too. idk its just the toxicity of the PvP aspect is why i never attempt to kill even a single player not worth it if im going to be ganged up afterwards.

it could also be due to the server being 1 mega server some peoples systems cant handle it hell the times i did play with my old rig that was an i5-6400 and GTX 960 with 8GBs of ram i still froze every now and then im about to replay on my new rig that is double or even triple the old rig in power i might still freeze but who knows

I just played for around a week.. A few hour ago i just experienced my first ganked at a blackzone, and i still upset untill now.. i lose around 600k.. -_- Atleast before getting ganked for my first time, i already do 3 times gathering in the blackzone and i get around 1.5m without being ganked, but because of that now i feel gathering is not worth since i can't fight back with my gathering gear, even on 1v1. Hi Lucy, good on you for being curiouis to learn. Sometimes, buying the runes, souls or relics and enchanting items yourself will be cheaper whereas other times buying the items enchanted directly will be cheaper. This changes from item to item but also time to time. So the best thing you can do to save money is compare it for yourself. Ask away whenever you have questions and have fun in Albion.

Lmao Good thing I play some full loot pvp games before such as Unturned,Rust,Hurtworld,Tarkov. It feels so rewarding when you get loots from killing players. This is why I am playing Albion. Theres thrill of the hunt feeling for me. At first I didn't know how to pvp in this game because so many things that I dont know exist in this game before. Like for an example,theres no such thing as ganking tutorial or low cost pvp build high reward tutorial before until recently (Yes they wont let you know how they gain advantage in this game so they will keep it secret and less competitions for them). There are abundants of those nowadays. Yes ganked is suck but when you do it yourself and get your kill it always worth the risk. Sorry I wrote alot but that what happened for me.

There are some video's biglipsmacee i believe and equart (equart is a king) have some i think. Tho to list a few things. Currepted dungeons yellow zone is good fun to practise and cearloen is a Nice place to do full loot currupted dungeons from. You ofc have the solo Dungeons, yellowzone goes to t5 red goes to t7 black and the roads go to T8. The roads start at 4 and go to 8 these never close behind you but can give extreem rewards. Faction Warfare is able to tag along solo tho group based. (You can tag along easly tho ) The green chest in the roads. Going treasure hunting. These are some options i like to do when going solo.

Many people especially newbies scared because their spec aren't good yet enough & if they die and lose their gear, they cant buy new gear, the only way is begging for silver XD so i think if they have more silver to buy second gear, they will not being scared anymore.. Of course rich people not scared, if rich ppl lose their fight, can easily buy another gear. The point is "Amount of Silver" they had right now.

I wanted to play for funzies and went a warlock build, cloth armor and all... it... sucks... but I put a lot of time into being lazy and have lots and lots of levels into it. I sort of saw the respec option and thought... it's either free or reasonably priced, and then BAM! 42 levels into cursed staff costs over 1M silver to "unlearn"... I didn't know any of this back then... I even got a month of premium and tried my luck farming on an island, cause I liked the idea of having my own place, and it's all shit, cause farming without premium, after, is literally losing money. There's no way for me to get the silver to get the sub back, I legit wanna play this game just leveling up my island and playing content casually, and this game won't let me... sure I wanna see roads of Avalon, and the outer continent, but last time I went there, from some random city, i got insta-killed upon arriving. Then I went naked to try and reset the portal, since I decided to settle down in Fort Sterling. I was naked. Insta-killed, ganged by lots of good-for-nothing pieces of shit, camping just outside the portal area. That was all of my experience with the content in this game. I never got to get decent gear, cause I can't seem to farm properly, and every time I tried being adventurous, I lost all I got. I have no silver, can't respec, have shit items on me, and this game frustrated me to no end, and I'm above begging in town for money... :) I feel like nobody considered maybe being a bit more friendly with new players and explaining stuff better... in game... cause now I have 100+ hours and no progress, and I just feel like giving up. I really want to like this game... I really do! But... I just... I can't
