NYRGaming30 oh were fine, unless you are bandwagon fan, we have nothing to lose, one of the best goalie situations, 2 best goalies in AHL, McElhinney is one of not the best backups, Freddy is a vesna contender (but by all means vasilvesky will win). Andreas Johnsson is on fire and might get a chance this year and is almost guaranteed to make team next year. Lijigren was a steal, and if the leafs lose a D they can go to Holl or Borgman gets called up easy and their pretty good. Im not worried as a true fan, but seriously if they play like they did in washington at the stadium series in the playoffs, were screwed.

Matthews could be a good captain if you keep him away from call-ups and potentially rookies. Coming from people who know him he’s got a bit of big man syndrome and doesn’t really tend to like people he deems below him. That could’ve changed when he came into the NHL or maybe it didn’t but honestly just let Kadri or Reilly or someone talk to the call-ups just in case.

Silly Steve, it's art - a symbol! An interference call... that doesn't tell interference. Because if you focus on the art of the game, you don't need to know whether that goal was fair or not. It says something about a player, their dedication to the sport that they don't have to know whether the goal will be called a goal to keep playing and follow through on their commitment to crashing the net. See, it's about the art of representing people giving their energy and love and time to hockey, it's about the game, not about dividing it up with arbitrary rules and clear boundaries. Because when you're dedicated to what you love, goals become irrelevant.
