@jkliao64862 жыл бұрын
I don't know about Keefe, but Boudreau mentioned in an interview when he was fired by the wild, that he usually saw it coming. He even only extended his lease on his house by a single year in the area in DC back then despite having signed a two year contract with the Caps. He knew it was coming, he knew he wouldn't survive the second year.

I don’t think most people who come to the videos after a loss actually come here to see you upset. I want this team to win (behind my favourite team Vancouver, yes my life is agony), and I don’t know what they need. Same. I listen to Steve to get his take on things. He usually has a good one. As for Dubas, he has to go. The Habs look more promising despite being in a rebuild. The Leafs are completely screwed right now if the stars don't get it together. They get fleeced in any trade, they're in cap hell and are maxed out on contracts.
@UzumakiNaruto_2 жыл бұрын
@@jecrex8349 To be fair if there's one thing that Dubas has been pretty good at is getting rid of bad contracts and currently who on the Leafs is a bad contract? I guess Holl and then who else? Maybe Engvall and a few guys like Marner or Tavares that you might say are abit overpaid? That's about it I think.

I’m a ducks fan and was at the game. So from my point of view it was a great game! Thanks for pointing out the officiating was horrific but the ducks slander was hilarious and the essential oil part had me spitting out my water. On a slightly serious note I became a hockey fan last year after my girlfriend got free tickets from her University and we attended a game. neither of us were any type of sports fans and we fell in love with hockey and personally through your hat picks and dang it’s i’m just a fan of hockey in general past my ducks and i thank you for that. you have a great way of putting what we all think of our teams into words and it’s not always “blow it up” but if the leafs do we’ll be waiting for you here in the basement GO DUCKS!

At the rate the Leafs are going Steve will definitely be in a mad house before they win a cup. For me personally the last time the Leafs got even remotely close to the Stanley Cup Finals was back in 93 and 94 when I was a young teen and still full of optimism for the Leafs winning a cup soon. 😑😒😪😪😟😕 I have to say even though those teams weren't able to bring the cup home, they were easy to cheer for because they played with heart and fire and were led by a true leader in Gilmour. If the current Leafs would have even half the passion and fight on the ice as those old Leafs teams did, they would be doing well right now instead of losing to bottom feeding teams.
@PeterCPRail87482 жыл бұрын
@@UzumakiNaruto_ your forgetting the two conference finals under Sundin one late 90s the other early 2000s. Got I miss the Gilmour and Sundin teams. What they lacked in pure skill and talent they made up for in hard work and pesky persistence. This team is overly skilled and talented but God dam fucking lazy and guttless. Hence no go last 7 years, let's face it, Leafs never winning with this core as it is. Time for major tweeks and changes.

I'm an aussie and I can't watch many games but I listen to most when I can. I've been following hockey since 2015 & I started following the leafs in late 2015 early 2016 after Matthew's & Marner came along. It would kill me to lose either of them to other teams because I follow hockey because of them, but at the moment it truly looks like Matthew's doesn't want to be here & Marner can't take any criticism. I hope they stay & I hope they can sort their crap out and start getting back to work because this is as bad as I've seen this team in 6 years, maybe ever. They've lost their passion, their drive, their want. I love these videos Steve, more so because I miss most games been on the other side of the world, love your great insight, great passion, I hope the lads can bring you home a cup one day & if they do I'll certainly watch along with you!
