There is an autographed photo of her on the wall of my daughter's bedroom - she is, in my mind, the epitome of a true Canadian role model. Hockey Royalty and a literal Canadian legend who has won every title / accolade possible - then goes on and becomes Doctor, then while overworked and exhausted in the hospital near single-handedly dealt with Canada's PPE shortage during the worst part of the pandemic. And NOW she's on staff with the Leafs?! Any ONE of those things is a reason for her picture to be on my daughter's wall. Total and complete respect and love.

Barf. If hockey is really what she’s interested in and not filling her bank account $$$ she should get her butt over to the “women’s league” and take the commissioner job and navigate their direction beyond the level of Ahl(maybe)/CHL quality hockey (then they could ask for more pay without filling seats in arenas….maybe) She was a great womens hockey player, and obviously a very focused human. Not trying to take away from her accomplishments and really want to see the women’s league succeed. But when this person, one of the most decorated in women’s history is with the leafs and we pump her tires all the time. This is simply a way to be “inclusive” but maybe not in the most transparent way. Everyone has an angle and certain demographics are working theirs pretty hard. Just an opinion that is likely not popular.

I'm a Habs fan, and I couldn't even be mad that we lost in the end. This game was a roller-coaster. Whoever made it so the Habs and Leafs play each other only 3 times this season should be locked in a padded cell when the Habs miss the playoffs and can't face the Leafs more. This game is what we want as fans. It entertains us regardless of the result. Did the Leafs deserve the win? Sure. Could the Habs have stolen it? They almost did! GG, can't wait for ... MARCH?! THE NEXT GAME BETWEEN MONTREAL AND TORONTO IS IN F*CKING MARCH?! While I watch most LFRs because Steve is funny, win or lose, I always watch the Habs games reactions. See you March 9th.

@alphaspursncowboys Leafs get priority on national networks in Canada. When Rogers first got the rights, watching Habs games was almost impossible growing up. As for opening against Vegas, as the 2 newest teams that will likely become tradition very quickly, Habs and Leafs always open the season with each other on Wednesday night hockey. It's about the rivalry. For Seattle, your 2 biggest rivals are Vegas by circumstance and Vancouver by proximity. The Habs/Leafs/Bruins hate triangle in the most storied rivalry in the league.
