This song brings the epic PTX wall of sound there in the middle!!! You’re right, their bell tones are exquisite!
@MarkoMakela-mv8dt Жыл бұрын
Mr LFR... You reaction was over the top. It is hard to understand that only five people can make a song sound like they had a band behind them... Even the percussions are made by them... Good grief... And the harmonies are out of this world for sure.
@lynn25742 жыл бұрын
That magic when they all sing? That immensely difficult, moving, harmony of beautiful sound? That is what we call PTX’s Wall Of Sound. Also- their labels are beautiful. They are each beautiful in their individuality (I believe Kirstie is also of native American decent). But their visual of how the individuals also make up humanity makes me want to be a better human.

The difficult part is called a wall of sound. Kirstin, Mitch, and Scott grew up together since they were 10 years old and are all 3 self professed choir needs and they were in musical theater. Kevin was classically trained on the cello and saxophone and played the saxophone at Carnegie Hall when he was 17. That is huge honor. Avi was trained for opera. The thing you might have missed about the cards is whatever word they passed to the next person was what they had in common but great catch on the human thing before the end.

Yes...their "bell tones" are their "signature". This was Scott's first real "coming out" in public. Avi, being trained in opera, was a perfectionist. You said they had perfect harmony. Avi (the bass) was always insistent they do it perfectly. They can't hide behind instruments. Scott's favorite music is R & B. Kirstie, Scott, and Mitch were in every choir they could be in while they were in high school at the same school. Those three started their singing journey when they were in elementary school. Thank you for your PTX reaction. I look forward to more.

Not only is perfect harmony is perfect sound leveled, and sound expansion and expression… making intervals (sound space full of sound vibration which makes the color of their harmonies absolutely beautiful, filled of so much texture with misfires of vibrant and shod color in the different sounds they emit in the musical journey they mapped, and every transition the technic they use for each change to continue taking the listener in the at journey is like incredibly perfect! I love how much their amazing harmonies, and overall talent, just blow your mind. Why? Because I relate. I've never been a singer (other than the car and hanging out with friends), but my years in band (concert and marching) and orchestra fostered a love of music theory. I'm not classically trained in theory, but seem to have an innate understanding of it. Pentatonix blows me away. Their understanding of what works, in sound and arrangement, is just ridiculous. That, in combination with their amazing vocal talent, makes them one of the most enjoyable groups to listen to...period. Love your reactions! Stay healthy and keep safe. And have a great day! :)

They are friends who put this group together because they wanted to be together. I went to their concert last November and Scott said people talk about the instruments they play because they are supposed to be a a cappella group. Scott said that they play instruments because they can. They are a diverse group in more ways than one. Kevin is a master cello player. They should use the talents they were given. They make beautiful music and they give it to us. Thanks for the reaction

The thought of when they started out with the Sing Off of how well they had done, It is Amazing that they hadn't come together until just a few days before they had to perform. Kevin and Avi not really even done anything with the group. They had just been picked to sing with them because they needed five people. When they sing that first song on The Sing-Off they blew their own minds. They came Out Swinging and found that they had assembled all the right people. They could not have done any better with any other individuals at that time of their life. They had struck gold in the middle of nowhere. It was as if they had been with each other all their life.
