LG monitors do have excellent color calibration out of the box. I agree sir.

Wow, can't believe it...I was "on the fence" between the LG and Dell monitors featured here and this video has defintely helped. I will say though that the LG has 165mhz refresh, while the Dell has 144mhz refresh...I have a 32" curved Lenovo 144mhz refresh monitor. But the ghosting element of the LG is something to consider. I think the "Faster" setting you selected will probably help, and for me would not be a big deal. Excellent review, and thank you.

@@chrismarte08 Amazon I just ordered it yesterday I had to check and make sure like multiple times that it was the LG 34gp83A-b and was brand new sure enough it was so I snagged it and I just went back to check if it's at that price still, but that might have been the last one from that seller it was a 3rd party seller but shipped from an Amazon warehouse. I wouldn't have purchased it at full price.

At $250 on amazon for black friday, but I dont see it as a step-up from my HP x27q, which I paid $235 for on eBay, more like a step down with its darkened screen and ghosting issues. Thanks for the heads up, but it looks like my search for the perfect Ultrawide continues.

We don’t recommend ultra wide on a console it will stretch your resolution and it doesn’t look right buy a 16:9 monitor and call it quiets
