Hi Dan, i have a problem with my exact TV just bought from Amazon. Es live in Spain. I have Mag 256 streaming box. LG 50"nanocell. When we look at the TV straight on. Super picture. No problem but if we sit at the side looking at the screen from the side the picture completely changes. All images fade. All foggy and pale images appear. Ive been into all settings everywhere but no luck. I plan on Monday to Ring LG. Do you have any idea what is wrong? I have upgraded my Mag Box to a 524 that i will install soon. I am experiencing same problem as you with my 50'' nanocel88, I think the image fading is caused by the type of the panel (VA),which does not have the best viewing angles.

VA has less viewing angle. it means it will colour shift after 30 40 degree in side angle.

I'm between this and the nano756pa. The 2 main differences are 60hz direct led vs 120hz edge led. I don't play games so mostly movies and sports. What would you recommend since I can't find any comparison. I read direct led is better but I'd also like 120hz however I don't know if I will notice any difference in sports and movies. The 2021 50" LG with VA panels have a reduced viewing angle vs the IPS panels, and use a LED back-light matrix, but with few leds, so the corners are darker, but have a better black level.

It is quite noticeable on dark TV scenes, I'd go for the samsung q70a for a similar price. The sound is better on the lg but the picture is better on the samsung

Brightness Adjust contrast - 90 Screen Brightness - 50 Auto Dynamic Contrast - Low Colour Colour depth - 80 Tint - 0 White Balance Colour Temperature - Warm 10 Method - 2 points Point - High Red - 0 Green - 0 Blue - 0 Clarity Adjust sharpness - 10 Super Resolution - Low Noise reduction - Off Mpeg noise reduction - Low Smooth Graduation - off Cinema Screen - On TruMotion - off This is how I like it for watching TV and Movies.

Hello. Im rain from malaysia. Just bought SAMSUNG Q65A 65" week ago. But i dissapointed with what the tv offered. I watch sports so much especially football and the motion of the picture is so terrible either it is live, recorded, youtube or by our country tv source provider. I can see the player shoot the ball and the leg turns to double, triple, shaking, inaccurate, plus the shadow of the ball. It is not smooth. Why is it like that? And if i can change due to the tv problem what brand would you prefer to me because i watch football, sports and action movies all the time. Yes the picture is good the color is good but i hate to watch the movement of all the players and the ball like that. Hope to get your clarification 😔😔😔

Dan. I bought this TV on your recommendation from Box. You didnt show a view from the side. On mine the colour goes very misty. Its like a net curtain is over it. Also there is a definite light, dark, light strip over the screen. It is rubbish.
