Much gratitude to you for filming this for people who were having difficulties setting this thing up, the directions are horrible.

Very informative. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get that stand on. Your video helped a lot. Thanks!

Bro!!! I’m normally pretty good with stuff like this but the stand assembly broke me. Thank you.

Thank heavens you made this video. It arrived with no instructions and without your video we would probably have damaged this delicate screen.

Thanks for the stand assembly part. You're right, the instructions really aren't clear enough about it.

Due to the ppi on the 42" and 48" u won't see the brightness increase of that, 55" and above sizes but that should actually help with holding the processer giving higher color volumes increase!
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
It does seem a little brighter to me, but I’m comparing it to a 65 inch C1 which isn’t the best comparison. Either way it really is a nice bright picture.

How are you supposed to remove the film from the back? I can’t seem to get it off no matter how hard I try.

I think I used something to just lift a corner. Then it came off ok.

How did you get that protective film off the back? That feels like a dumb question, but it's on there pretty good for me. Was chipping my nails trying to get it off and gave up.
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s stuck pretty good. I may have used something like a credit card to lift a corner. It’s stuck good but does come off fairly easily once you get it going.

Is it necessary to remove the same ?

Still pretty annoyed at how slow WebOS feels on the C1. I upgraded to it from a 2015 LG TV and I barely noticed an increase of speed; plus I don't even like how it looks. It's nice that it's at least snappy on the C2 now though!
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
It can feel a bit clunky on the C1. The new WebOS just zips along though. I’m impressed so far.

Are the LG G2 worth waiting for?
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
It’s a great TV but will be expensive too. I’d choose the C2 myself. You might get a slight boost in peak brightness though with the G2.

What are the dimensions of the stand?
@TheReviewFella Жыл бұрын
You can find all the dimensions on the LG website.

what are the cables that came with the tv at 1:37??? I don't know what to do with those for my LG C2, please help.
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
IR blaster cables? I don’t use them but you can plug it into other devices and use your TV remote to control them.

I thought the 42" and 48" won't get the ex panel until Q2?
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
Vincent from HDTVTEST got his the same week as mine, and he reckons they do have the EX panel. But I've not delved deep into the firmware to confirm, so you could be right.

i have 65" b9. But i dont think any reason to change my tv for lg c2

That’s a good TV, and if you’re happy with it, and it does what you need, then no harm in keeping it.

Anyone I have LG c9 should I upgrade to g1? is g1 is g1 brighter?
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
Have a look at the comparison on Rtings.com. They put the C9 slightly brighter for SDR content and about the same for HDR content.

The tabs of the screen protector just came right off I was wondering if there was even a screen protector, so now how do I remove it lol what a joke. The screws were also low quality garbage for the stand. So far a very bad first impression on my 1600 dollar tv
@TheReviewFella Жыл бұрын
You can still remove it if you find the edge and get a finger nail under it. That’s assuming that it has one. If you’re unsure then speak to the store or LG about it first. Not had any issues with the screws (other than fiddly screw holes).
@neiltaylor66452 жыл бұрын
Up to 20% brighter apparently
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
Yes I read that too. Although I doubt in real terms it will look anywhere near that. But a boost in brightness is always good.
@mrpurpleman96982 жыл бұрын
@@TheReviewFella Hopefully techradar and others are incorrect and there is a noticeable brightness improvement between the smaller C1 and C2 screens.
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
I’ve only got the 65 inch C1 to compare it to at the moment, so not ideal. Either way it really is a bright punchy picture.
@christianspring59112 жыл бұрын
43 & 48 C2 looks so similar to C1 physically, that really SUCKS... 55C2 different physically..
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
How do they differ? I haven’t managed to get hold of a larger C2 yet.
@LexLutha2 жыл бұрын
The 42” looks way different physically
@TheReviewFella2 жыл бұрын
Yes it does. The 42 inch can be used as a monitor so has feet instead of a central stand. Also not as thin at the back, because of the smaller screen. The 48 inch is the same design as the larger TVs.

I wish I never bought a C2. Everything about the C2 is a downgrade compared to my C1.
@TheReviewFella Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I do like the screen uniformity of my C2. My C1 is ace but that pink tint on the left can be annoying (on my TV).
@chadreinke3489 Жыл бұрын
@@TheReviewFellaea I’ve been watching the C1 for almost 2 years and after a few days of watching the C2 I can confirm it is not as good as previous models. The EVO panels are a downgrade imo.
