Really looking forward to the C2 versus C3 comparison. With the 65" C3 retailing for $1000 more than the C2, I want to know if the C3 is worth that bump up in price as I make my decision upon which to purchase. Thanks!

Have C2 42" in Box. Had an issue after 2 weeks with NEW one, Replacement is in box NEW next to me, unopened. I will SAY the BIGGEST ANNOYANCE to me on C2, I am using as a PC Monitor. It the brightness isn't AMAZING!!! It CAN be bright, but it is a duller looking TV, does NOT have the POP on everything, not saying it doesn't POP, but if you put the C3 and C2 next to each other you'd think the C2 looked DIM. Also 42" is dimmer than 48" and UP anyway. MY delima , I see C3 42" for $1,250. I got mine $899. Do I spend $350 more for a brighter TV??? I am thinking about it as the dimness bothers me sometimes and I will keep in many years and I can afford it, but I am still cheap. On WHITE Screens C2 is super dim! Like a word document, etc. You Tube comments with a white screen. I got used to it. I turned off all auto dim w/service remote but it still is very dim on a white screen. The ONLY REASON I'd get C3 is Brightness, the other stuff who cares, they are basically the same.
@TheReviewFella
@TheReviewFella Жыл бұрын
The C3 has a slight perceived brightness boost over the C2 using LG’s Brightness Boost technology. It’s not actually a brighter TV by much. The C3 does seem to have fixed the auto dim shambles that the C2 suffered from (maybe, as I’m still testing that). Both TVs are very bright to me and I’ve not had any issues using the C3 for everything including a pc monitor.

I've been looking at the LG Flex 42 since it uses a true evo panel from the G series (or so rumor has it), but I've also been considering this C3 to save quite a bit of money. Do you know if the 42" C3 also uses a true evo panel or if it's an "evo" panel? I will be using the tv/monitor for productivity and 3D modeling so accuracy is a must. Will you be testing the color accuracy and checking for flicker? (Some OLEDs still have flicker, which gives me a massive headache and why I'm asking specifically.)
@TheReviewFella
@TheReviewFella Жыл бұрын
I use mine for video editing and colour correction etc. LG have said in the past that the term 'evo' is more a collection of technologies like the processor, rather than a panel type. However we do know some panels have been better than others and I see no issues so far with this one. It's a fantastic panel for everything you can imagine. Super sharp and vibrant. Many more videos on this coming soon.

Why no one ever mentions the sound quality? I know I’ll not get a Bang & Olufsen sound out of the tv but is it good? Is it awful? Is it REALLY necessary a sound bar? Come on….
@TheReviewFella
@TheReviewFella 4 ай бұрын
Because it’s not a review. It’s an unboxing and first look. You need to find an in depth review for that information. The sound is good but you’ll always benefit from a good sound bar.

How do I turn off hdr on my c1 TV
@TheReviewFella

The TV auto detects HDR when you stream it so goes into the most appropriate HDR picture settings. I can’t think of a way to do that other than not stream HDR.

Hello!! Does all inches include evo panel? I want to purchase a 42’ inches c3. Also, does a 55’ inches has more brightness than a 42’? I mean if it is noticeable.
@TheReviewFella
@TheReviewFella 9 ай бұрын
Hello! Depends what you mean by Evo panel. I understood that the term Evo is more about a collection of technologies rather than type of screen. Although LG is bound to use different makers or versions of panels. My LG C3 42 inch is branded Evo on the box.

@@TheReviewFella I went to a shop to purchase a lg c3 tv and the seller said to me that the evo panel is included after 55’ inches and that the evo panel affect the overall brightness. I want to purchase a 42’ inches c3 and I don’t know if he is lying to me that there is a noticeable difference on brightness from 42’ inches to 55’ inches. That’s what I m wondering. I can’t put a 55 inches on my living room, it’s too small 😂. I want to get the 42’ inches.

Hello The Review fella , I bought LG C3 rvo 42 inches but 2 small side stands for table top which come inside the box are missing, when I told LG about this they are saying either you will get wall mounted kit or small side stands which should have already been given inside the TV box. What should I do any ideas?

Only one thing you can do and that is return the TV for a refund or exchange. It’s the retailers responsibility to provide you with what you paid for.
