About 25units per month on 24×30 days of operation. 25units × 6rupees = 150rupees savings a month on high speed for 24hours a day, 30days a month. 9months of usage a year as per seasons. 150rupees × 9months =1350rupees saved maximum in a year. 2000rupees ordinary fan, 17000rupees lg fan. 15000rupees difference covered in more than 11years of usage. More resonable, had it been for 6000 or 7000 rupees Practical or Gimmick? It's up to you to decide.
