I will need ever ever buy an LG product again. We have a fridge and a dish washer and they have been nothing but trouble from day one. We live in Alaska no maintenance man in Alaska will even work on LG. Because they don’t get paid for doing warranty work and when they fix it it doesn’t fix it. Because the parts and these are so poor quality well that says it all. Warning ⚠️ for some one else buyer beware!!!

Year old comment but we've had multiple problems with our electric stove top and now we're dealing with leaking issues with the dishwasher. We've spent over half the value of the appliances on repairs alone. LG is a RIPOFF. DO NOT BUY.

LG DISHWASHER - A MASTER CLASS IN POOR PERFORMANCE, AVOID THIS JUNK. I bought an LG dishwasher and refrigerator during a Black Friday sale three years ago, expecting to get solid appliances at a decent price. I’ve worked in enough homes and installed more than my share of dishwashers to know what quality looks like, and this isn’t it. For a name brand, LG’s appliances are all flash, no function. Here’s a breakdown of the headaches I’ve dealt with, if you’re interested in this product: 1. Louder Than a Generator - LG markets this dishwasher as “quiet,” but it’s louder than some of the construction equipment I work around. Run it while trying to watch TV or have a conversation? Not a chance. I can hear mine from upstairs. 2. Cheap, Flimsy Racks - The upper and lower racks are pure junk. I’ve had to replace both multiple times because they break under normal use: cheap plastic wheels, cracked brackets, you name it. I even had to replace the lower rack twice because it kept coming off the tracks and dish holders kept snapping. 3. Wash Arms That Fly Off Mid-Cycle - The spray arms come loose so often I could set a timer by it. This latest failure triggered the AE error, even though there’s no water leak-just the wash arm flying around inside the tub. Now the machine’s locked in an emergency drain cycle that won’t stop, no matter what I try. • I’ve cut power at the breaker and even disconnected the wiring. • Left the door open for three days to let the non-existent “leak” evaporate. But the second I power it back up, it chirps like a dying smoke detector and flashes red. 4. Technician Charges Will Break You - A tech quoted me $300 just to walk through the door. At this point, with the parts, the time I’ve spent fixing it myself, and the amount of noise it makes, I’ve nearly doubled what I paid for it on sale, I think I’ll need hearing aids from this thing before too long. This dishwasher isn’t just a lemon, it’s a money pit. LG Fridge: Ice Maker Disaster As for the LG fridge I bought at the same time? It’s no better. The ice maker failed so many times I lost count. But at least I’m not on the hook for that anymore, thanks to the class action lawsuit against LG. Now they send replacement parts for free. Great, except it’s a known defect they should have recalled from the start. Other Common LG Dishwasher Problems (In Case You’re Still Thinking About Buying One): • Control Panel Glitches - Buttons randomly beep or become unresponsive, and resets don’t always work. • Drainage Issues - Clogged pumps and standing water at the bottom, often requiring the unit to be pulled out to fix. • Detergent Dispenser Failures - Pods are left half-melted because the dispenser doesn’t open during the cycle. • Terrible Drying Performance - Even with the “heated dry” setting, plastic comes out dripping wet. • Inconsistent Cycles - Cycles often get stuck or run longer than advertised, wasting time and energy. Furthermore, I’ve installed LG appliances for a few clients in the past, and honestly, I feel bad. I hope they’re not dealing with this same kind of crap and got a dishwasher built on a Wednesday instead of a Friday. If I’d known back then what I know now, I never would’ve recommended or installed LG for anyone. And I won’t be from here on out. Don’t Waste Your Money on LG. LG’s products are all style and no substance. They might look good on the showroom floor, but the real test is longevity and performance, and these appliances have failed spectacularly. If you’re looking for appliances that won’t become DIY projects every few months, stay away from LG. I’m done with LG for good, and if you’re willing to trust a stranger on KZbin you wouldn’t buy it with your neighbour’s money. I will be copying and pasting this review as much as I can.

i just installed a new drainage pump, reinstalled the unit. Have it tested 2 times. It leaks in the front. The level looks alright. I will try to level again in the rear and get back. It did not leak before the new pump.

Rinse aid leaks out when we lift the door for closing the machine and machine gives warning of needing rinse aid. Machine is brand new and using the second time. This also happened during first cycle

Dishwasher didn’t leak for a load, then started another load and leaked all over. Definitely not the water supply line. I feel the level is great. I also feel the mounting is adequate. Losing my patience.

@@mayntrain66 Yeah. LG is not so good. I just pulled mine out. The thing is far gone. Leaks everywhere. Door, bottom. Had to replace the spinner arm in the middle rack a few months back. Can you imagine the darn thing was not designed to screw in. Take a guess who's not buying LG for anything ever again?

My dishwasher is not leaking from the front door. The water is coming from a port inside the dishwasher on the left side toward the back.

What’s the main reason for the dishwasher to leak from the bottom left?
