Is there any way to do a completely manual cycle, where you can adjust the time and heat temp?
@mkccventuresllc2 ай бұрын
Try setting the cycle selector to Manual Dry (Speed Dry). Next adjust the temperature. Next adjust the time. After adjusting the time, you can use the "more time/less time" buttons to adjust the time in 1 minute increments. You can also select "Wrinkle Care". Also, if you want to repeat the manual cycle for other loads you can program the cycle. You can find details on how to do that on page 42 of the Owner's Manual. Some models are equipped with WiFi capability and can be adjusted with the LG ThinQ app. Details are located on pages 44-47 of the Owner's Manual. Great! It arrives today. I assume you can adjust the pre-sets also on the sensor dry side( time, temp, etc).

Some of the presets. Pages 38-39 in the manual provide information on which presets can be changed and the alterations that are available.

Thanks, I'm getting this and it's washer companion (WT7405) on Monday. Still enjoy it? Any other tips?

Very happy with it. I have another LG Dryer in a rent house that has had no complaints for 8 years. As far as tips, I wouldn't say this is a tip. More of a suggestion, I would download a custom setting with Normal dry level , medium heat and 35 minutes. I find that gets them about 95% dry. then a quick touchup finishes them. I am often late so the last 5% is just enough to insure that winkles don't set in. YMMV. You could get an idea of that by trying delicates. Lower Dry temperature and less time. I believe this saves me a bit of Electricity, Not sure, but I am going to have a power meter on it soon to confirm.

was it easy to buy and then attach the power cord yourself?
@mkccventuresllc6 ай бұрын
Yes, attaching the cord is rather simple. But before you buy the cord. Check to see which cord you need. (i.e., a 3-prong cord or a 4-prong cord). If you need a 4-wire cord you will have to transfer the white ground wire from the dryer from behind the green ground screw to the center screw of the terminal block. And the green ground from the cord to the ground screw where you moved the white ground wire. Also make sure you install the strain relief. If you house was built from 1996 or newer it should use a 4-wire installation, Most older homes use 3-wire. There are many Videos showing how to do this and LG has a couple of videos on KZbin. HTH

This doesn’t show anything that I needed to know. How to keep the dryer running when the clothes are still wet. How do use the wrinkle function.

I am wondering the same thing. Did you ever get that figured out?

Following up. Did you figure this out?

Does this dry have a buzzer when it’s done? I sure can’t find it on the panel. I’m guessing it doesn’t.

Your the Champ I just put this in today. Didn’t realize it was a hamper door. She doesn’t like that the door doesn’t open All the way. Are you guys satisfied with the dryer
@mkccventuresllc2 жыл бұрын
My previous dryer had a hamper door that opened 90 degrees. I did not like that one. I like this dryer door as the partially opened door makes a chute to guide the clothes into the dryer. I am happy with the dryer. And LG products in general. The only issue I have had out of all of the LG appliances is a water valve on a washing machine started leaking. But that was a 15 minute repair so not a really big deal.

Thanks for the information. I did figure out the drier can be open two different ways. She’s happy now. I kept surfing around on KZbin
