LG Fridge/Freezer combo not cooling (Part 2)

I have the same exact LG refrigerator since 11/2016, which both fridge and freezer chambers are not cooling on Thanksgiving and afterward. LG gave me its local authorized services for contacting and said its covers inverter compressor but not labor cost. So I decided to go ahead to recharge freon after testing its electrical lines of its compressor, guess what happened? It was back to life. Ice maker makes ice again, freezer is at 0°F and 37°F at fridge.

Is it just a temporary fix? If freon has to be recharged, that means something is leaking or wrong right?

You may be right but 7 years old fridge and if it can be used for another 2-3 years then I take it. Or can it be assumed that if it was not having a leak issue, freon amount in the LG fridge might have been ran out prematurely. Time remains to be seen.
