​@@willroyer1 It's on the back of the washer. There's 4 or 5 grey large bolts that you need to unscrew. Those bolts are holding the drum from rotating. IF ITS A NEW WASHER REMOVE THE TRANSIT BOLTS ON THE BACK OF THE MACHINE! Yes, its in the instructions but it should be HIGHLIGHTED and besides who reads instructions? There should be a big sticker on the top of the machine which cautions to remove the bolts.

I have the 4500. I've leveled it and it still vibrates just a bit more than I think it should. Not a lot, but more than it should. I'm apprehensive about putting in a full load of towels. Just the sheet set from a king bed caused a little walking, and that was probably half it's capacity. You can't wash single or small loads? Bulky items and comforters will cause vibrations? Well then why did I buy a 5.0 cubic ft washer? I've had two Samsung's that handled loads better than this and they were 4.5 cubic foot washers. Maybe, I should have stayed with Samsung, I don't know yet. Still looking for a calibration mode.

@@LGUSA Thank you. I did try calling them around 3 and all I got was their new hours which close at 6 pm. LOL and then it hung up. I tried contacting LG before I bought this set. I should have heeded the warning. I never received any answers from LG. All I ever get is where to go look. Just not a lot of help. I still have a little time. I may just return the set. I'm not sure why someone would raise the legs unnecessarily. I personally try to move only one leg to level, and normally that's all it requires. I thought maybe the installers forgot to remove the 4 shipping bolts, but it looks like those are gone. I can't think of what else it could be.

Actually turning leveling feet clockwise will lower unit and counterclockwise will raise unit.

Depends on the threading, in our(electrolux) machine, its clockwise to raise, counterclockvise to lower

Mine is a nightmare. Vibrates like crazy and bangs into everything around it. Leveled the feet and it seemed ok until the last 5 min and then and banged and damaged everything around it. Hard to move it back with a staked dryer on top. Even bought vibration pads that are supposed to prevent walking but thins thing vibrates so badly that the pads do nothing.

I have the issue on my Lg front load brand new when we move to our new house we have this washer and dryer in the first month we used it was running smoothly no noise no vibration but now just now few weeks now its makes noise when spin it vibrates when spin and i check that the washer is stable on the floor it wont move its solid on the ground but ut does that thing what can we do? Is tLG can fix this?

I bought an LG washer and it vibrates uncontroably . I called and made appointment with them to come look at it 3 time...and all of the times no one showed up or called. I called LG and they give me a bunch of exuses and now iam stuck with a washer that wants to shake so much that it's scary. Customer service is horrible and warranty is no good as no one come to look at it.

I bought 8KG LG front loading washing machine a few years ago until today this machine make me frustrated. I should do this and that when load dirty stuff to washing tube to minimize this machine jumping all over the place when spinning. Unfortunately 50% failed, it jump like crazy. When I bought this machine in the plastic bag contain manual, there are 4 8mm anchor bolt arround 90mm long. This bolt has 2 end with 2 type of screw groove. 1 probably 8 x 1.25mm screw and the other end is self taping 8 mm screw. but there's nothing in manual how to use this 4 bolt. Realy make me mad.

Avoid the situation by not washing your comforter? Don't you sell this machine as one that is good at washing large items? And how do we avoid tangled items if the machine tangles them? I just love being told not to use a washing machine for the purpose that the machine was invented for. Who is going to pay for my comforter to be done at the dry cleaner's?

I had a walking washer problem and after I replaced drum ball bearings and gasket it stopped vibrating. When I took the rear panel off (disconnect the power first) I noticed rust on my washer motor, this was coused by failed gasket that allowed water to the bearings.

Samsung does the same thing, it is the worst product and it also says RVT for reduced vibration technology, what a lie. I just purchased a top loader and I hope it will not do the same thing.

how about making a front loader that actually works like the GE? My LG shakes THE WHOLE HOUSE... THE WHOLE HOUSE. i am NOT joking. I just rented a lake house that had a GE..... near silent, almost no vibration.

In order to prevent permanent damage to your HOUSE! this thing shakes the house like a scale 3 earthquake. I really need to get rid of this POS and its so damn heavy that it was a true challenge getting it in the house.

I have had a LG tower for over a year and a service visit. LG stated nothing wrong no transit bolts. Just powerful motor. Think this is affecting house. Unit on second floor and shaking everything. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.
