in my country, g2 mini is about 235 USD nexus 5 is about 475 USD idol x is about 344 USD no contract system subsidies whatsoever so the price argument doesn't apply it still is an affordable branded phones any other branded phone on the same price range are lower in quality and performance (with exception for LG L90 and Zenfone 6)

It has actually nice chipset, android just tends to lag all the time. As an example this phone would run WP8 perfectly without a hint of lag. Buttery smooth.

It is not android, it is lg's ui. The moto g has the same chipset but with stock android and it does not have lag at all.

The nexus 5 costs a lot more here in asia. The counterpart of g2 mini here are galaxy win, xperia C, and galaxy core lte. The g2 mini is better than all these.

Why waste the money on this phone ? If it at least had a 720p then maybe but with a 4.7 in screen it's not so mini maybe with a 4.3 in screen that resolution is acceptable but with hd screens being so cheap to make it makes no sense to me

john doe Different outlooks for different companies.. The Z1c(_Rs 32,500_) costs just a shade lesser than the bigger Z1(_Rs34,000_)..dont you think Sony is cheating a bit here? Moving down from 5.1" 1080p to 4.3" 720p and smaller body,battery etc and all they do is reduce price by Rs 1500 ??*wtff*.. I aint paying flagship money for a 4.3 inch phone whose body is as big as 4.7" screen phones, even if it has the best specs in the market.
