On my G2 Mini, the case isn't very good, so when I drop itcwhen running the case comes off, then the back comes off, then the battery comes out. 😒

gigi9459 Its personal opinion. A notification light can be helpful, but many of us turn our phone screens on regularly it is often redundant.

So you are comparing this phone with one that costs twice as much?(here in sweden) I think for the price this one is the best, like.. every other phone in that price segment is either missing some important function or just costs waaay too much(for what u get and that includes S4 mini). Here in Sweden: G2 mini 1990 kr(crones) and your Z1 compact is 3979 kr(crones). It's like comparing a cake to a toast(with cheese and ham.. am hungry). Since the G2 mini is a budget phone, i would prefer not to hear it being compared to a premium expensive phone such as Z1(that's just me though).

*Blacklist* Somewhere in the middle? Very difficult to say, verges on the lighter touch, but not too soft otherwise the screen would all to easily activate. Certainly not as hard a touch is required as on touch screens of 2 years ago where they were more resistive.

Great review. I just duffed my S4 and bought the G2 Mini over the Moto G. I would have preferred the Moto G but really don't like the fact that you can't remove the battery on the Moto G, that for me made the G2 Mini a winner. I wish mobile companies would give you what they advertise in memory. If it uses 4GB in preinstalled apps then they should sell it as a 4GB not an 8GB. The only annoying thing is when you can get 64GB on a MiniSD that these companies are still only selling mobiles with a small amount of memory. Sadly a lot of apps these days still wont move to the SD card. Companies really need to up there game on this issue.

yes the reason that made be buy the g2 was the release year and the android version but I never thought that the screen would be that bad ..well if it has an HD screen for the g3s it's a good phone but it's has only 8gb that means you will find only like 4gb of internal storage so you will need to make the root access so you can install apps with large data files on SD (I had to root my g2 for this reason too but I prefere to keep my phone without root access

Hmm well, in this price range you'll probably get a phone with a 1,2ghz quad-core processor which is not meant for heavy gaming but games like Dead Trigger 2 run just fine with just a little bit of lag sometimes. The LG G2 Mini is a good choice for you but of you're a heavy phone gamer you should look at another (higher) price range

he said in the begging about the competition that LG G2 mini has and he says "the Z1 Compact takes the crown". Yea right. Small detail is that in my country LG G2 mini is costing 147 euros and the Z1 Compact is at 280 euros! And HTC One mini at 360 euros! Almost double price! LOL! So yea, maybe the other phones are better but their price tag is out of any connection with LG G2 mini. So next time try to compare phones in the same price tag, not only cause they have "mini" on their titles.

Is the sd card working in other devices?

Clove Technology yes the sd card(speed class 6) works ,music ,photos,office files etc. can be stored also on the lg g2 mini ,only apps and games can't .There is the button in storage to move to sd card so it must work on the lg g2 mini without restrictions like on previous android version.Maybe it's a software bug ,can you check this in your device(or someone else) ?
