Darn you, Mike. You always make me have buyers-regret for what I've already bought. Interesting how the storage size regulates the amount of RAM in the phone. Never seen that before. The customized ROM is impressive. It is pretty close to stock. I liked HTC Sense 6 on my One M8, but it just didn't feel quite as smooth as the Google Play version. So I flashed the ROM. :D Anyways, enough rambling. Good video Mike!

Thanks so much Quinn! You did not make a wrong decision with the One, you still have the phone with the best build, speakers, and headphone amp. I think my biggest issue with the One is the camera and the location of the lock button. The G3 definitely hits some key points with the camera and display, the software is a little buggy right now but should get better once it arrives in the US.

I upgraded to this phone from an iPhone 5 about a week ago and I have nothing but positive things to say. The display is great, it is full of features, and it's hella fast. The only thing is the as he said in the Oviedo it does tend to overheat when I'm doing intense gaming, but otherwise it's cool. Great phone would definitely recommend it.

The tap pattern to unlock thing is really cool! I really like how you can switch to different accounts that way. The ability to hide the soft touch buttons in certain apps is also way cool as well.

Hell yes! I bought the LG G3 at launch and I loved and still love the phone it was VERY advanced for its time and still holds up today. It has an amazing display and even after 2 and a half years of using the phone it still holds up flawlessly. I gave up the phone to get the Note 7 and that was the worst decision of my life, the Note 7 had its advantages but honestly was not a great deal better and it was also a terrible decision because of all the crap I have had to go through with this stupid exploding ordeal.

Although I don't have this phone, one of the things I like about the G3 is the fact that Optimus UI is so customizable, yet it's flatter in appearance and more muted in tone, as opposed to the garish, ugly look of TouchWiz on my current S3. I thus wouldn't need to download a third-party launcher like Nova to mask it. The G3 has the same features as TouchWiz and includes some settings that come with Nova already as part of the Optimus UI, which I love. To me, it's the perfect balance. I assume that the Lollipop update will only help. That being said, I'm one that wants battery life. I'm concerned that the QHD screen will drain the battery, as opposed to a 1080P screen. Frankly, I see no difference as far as PPI to the naked eye, and I think all those pixels on QHD might be overkill. Also. I'm not a fan of the onscreen buttons; I prefer capacitive buttons, so as to not take away screen real estate. I also don't like the headphone jack being on the bottom, as it would be annoying in-pocket. I am by no means a gamer, nor a photographer, but I do experiment with apps from the Play Store. Ideally, I want a battery that lasts for multiple phone calls, texts and browsing/KZbin throughout the day. Along those lines, I enjoyed the Droid Turbo review. as a female, I like the fact that it has a sturdy build and a near-stock UI that still has features. I'd call it a "masculine" phone, but I don't mind that much. Also, that battery would be perfect for me; however, I'm a T-Mobile customer, and would have to get the unlocked version. I will wait it out til next year, though. Question is, do I wait to see if LG makes improvements to the issues I stated above in the G4, or do I get a Droid Turbo once the price is reduced? Opinions appreciated.

Well pal we exactly have the same thought and concern about the G3. I'll be buying my phone this wk and until now I can't decide between note3 and G3 (note4 still expensive). I want the g3's ui than the note 3 but I was wondering how much battery it drains since it is QHD especially that I play heavy games and watch lots of videos.

Mimz Cruz Have you seen Erica Griffin's G3 review? She might be able to answer that question for you, because she goes really in-depth about pixel density and color saturation, battery life, etc. As for myself, I'm holding off to see what these companies come up with in 2015. Honestly, I think tech had a down year overall this year. But it depends on how you use your phone. For you, since you're a gamer, I'd go with the Note, but there's that issue of TouchWiz. If you can deal with TouchWiz, go Note. Also, besides Erica's reviews, I'd look at Flossy Carter's "Real Reviews". He's not a techie, but just a consumer, and a heavy user, like yourself.

You will probably understand if I tell you that I really need to buy a new phone bec I'm still with S3 and before that it was iphone 4. Well that's how I do it I buy a flagship phone then It stays with me for like 2yrs before hopping into a new one. So I wanna make sure I buy the right one this time. What's your phone now? Mimz Cruz You're welcome. I actually also have an S3, the unlocked international version. I'm using a 4200 mAh extended battery and a universal Zero Lemon case with it. Since I'm a light to moderate user, I can get through a day with it, but it's a brick in my small hands. It's a trade off, I guess. The standby time on the S3 is awful, though. I unplug it fully charged at night and by the time I wake up in the morning, it's down 10% without me touching it. Flossy does say that standby is great on the G3, though. I'm not one that goes crazy over Android vs. iPhone like most people do. I think it's stupid and no one should get on someone else for having either phone. That being said, since I hate TouchWiz, Samsung will really have to impress me for me to stay with it. I'm going to wait and see what LG does with the G4, or go back to HTC next year, since their skins aren't as cartoonish as Samsung's.

I also got the international version for s3, Before phablets began I was using ipad and my laptop a lot. Well my job really requires me to be online. I'am a market analyst/mystery shopper for an online shopping. I basically check everything on our website like item description, pricing etc..to make sure of the site quality and accuracy. So one thing I'm thankful of is we can almost do everything with our smartphones :) Use it as a planner, check email, gps, play games those are all important to me. Don't get me wrong I'm telling you this for you to understand how important this "smartphone choosing decision" is. So far its tormenting me like hell :)

This is pretty much a modernized version of the "LG Motion 4G" phone which came out back in late 2012. I own this phone and I still like it very much, thinking about getting the LG G3 this Christmas though.
