LG G5 Free Battery update and review!

I never knew how immensely useful an additional battery with a charging cradle would be. I never have to be tethered to a cord or a stupid power bank if I run out of battery. Plus I can help someone out who needs a charge too. The bad press around the G5 is completely unwarranted. People spew bad things on the internet about it because of what other people say and yet they haven't even used it or seen it in real life themselves. I also get over 5 hours screen on time consistently, the speaker is very very good, it feels good to hold, it has a lovely screen and the cameras are amazing especially the wide angle one which I think is a game changer. Often times in a confined space it is nice to take a picture of the whole scene and the wide angle lense is awesome. Some may argue take a panorama. But it's just not the same. The panorama becomes a thin weird picture and if people are moving about in the scene or you need to catch a quick snap of all that is going on a panorama just won't do. I for one am so happy I did not listen to all the negativity. The G5 is truly a great and innovative smartphone and the S7 and HTC10 is so overrated. The HTC 10 speakers aren't even that good and neither is the camera. The S7 is just artificial....artificial oversharpened photos and artificial oversharpened colours in a fragile glass body.

Great video man, live in Rio de Janeiro and I am a tour guide, need a lot of battery life on my phone, just bought one extra battery yesterday. But they do not come with this nice case, peace.

+J. Williams is there a trick to using the battery cradle as a power block for other devices? Mine won't continuously charge other devices.

Loving the G5 for the same reason. The battery comes off the bottom bezel much more easily if you pull it off from the other side btw

FYI: the power output of the 'power bank' is only 5V 1A

Could you charge a battery in the Cam Plus? I mean while the Cam Plus is home, and G5 is with you in the car.

i brought i extra battery pack and when I replace it all I get is a notification saying invalid battery turns and it truns off my phone anyone else have this problem

I have the same charger and spare battery. I charge it full and take it out with me for the day. But when I run out of battery on my phone and plug the charged battery on my phone, it only gets to 40-50%. The only time I do get the 100% is when I plug the battery into the phone just hours, maybe 2 or 3, after I take the battery out from the battery bank and put it on the phone. Is that normal for everybody?

My device needs a battery replacement I'll take it to my service provider have them do it they know how to do it probably better than I could do it for I won't get all marked up to replace the battery I'll just buy the battery on eBay or wherever and have them put it in for me AT&T will do it for me the girl that will do it for me no problem I already called and asked

I don't want to do this it will wear out the clip for the battery when you keep taking it off and on plus it'll put scuff marks on the device I don't want scuff marks on my device I don't want the clip to wear out I won't even bring my devices out of the house because I don't want to get it scratched or scuffed-up

I´ve used this on a daily basis with my G5 for 2 years already... Not a single problem! I always blow some air (lungs ofcourse) in the slot and clean the clip, it still clicks and runs like a champ! I LOVE this feature, every phone should have it...
