Gg3 is thicker than gg4 and doesn't crack as easily , while gg4 is more scratch resistant than gg3 , and for your info lg g6 actually comes with 64gigs of storage too , so you need to do some more research imo opinion lg g6 is better than a phone with heating, screen bleeding issues , with a secondary screen thats almost useless to alot of its users , and with out water proofing in 2k17

it really depends what kind of person you are, I prefer rounded edges instead ot the v20s more square look. but I would rather have the more storage options and the removable battery in the v20s. I wish LG could settle some where in the middle instead of trying to change everything about a old model to make a new one.

The battery life on the G6 is not only a little bit better, it's much more better. I never could get through the whole day with the V20, but no problems with the G6.

rocking v20 for two weeks now. was umming and aahhing between the g6 and v20 checking out reviews etc. v20 is the beast if you worry about drop strength, quad dac is incredible, 64 gb on board storage, removable battery and ir blaster. i made the right choice after retiring my superb note 3.

Hi Bigtreesfall. If you like samoled then stick to samsung. I just love my v20's cooler screen, alot less bloatware from LG, quadDac, second screen and new nougat updates. G6 vs v20 I'd say for the price v20 all the way. Enjoy

I returned my G6 for the V20. Screen is too narrow for my tastes on the g6. IF they would only patch in a fix for YT scaling. My old G4 looks better viewing YT videos than the G6. While the G6 is sharper than my old G4 .

Nice review, though i disagree on the new silly 2:1 aspect ratio, all media is in 16:9 so you'll end up with even less screen than you think. I prefer any 16:9 phone over a 2:1 The V20 it is.

You can find those issues, with almost any device... Much more people are gonna write the negative stuff they encounter, then positive ones. Do not judge the device, by only taking those peoples comments into consideration. Do not forget the trolls etc. I have this device, and it absolutely smashed my expectations, which were high to begin with. And I bought it for 450 $. It is a steal.

The reason why LG still uses Super LCD over OLED or AMOLED (which I prefer!) is that LCD is meant to have better outdoor usability (Not so true these days!) and is much harder to get Screen Burn-In and the Blue does not degrade in 2 to 3 years like they do with OLED & AMOLED screens! The LG V30 will have OLED Screens have a bigger screen (6.4 Inch Screen roughly, still the new 2:1 ratio aka 16:9!) then the LG G6 (The V series is meant to be their version of the Galaxy Note!), The V30 will even have a Stylus (much better than the ones on their Stylo/stylus range of low to mid tier phones!) also They want to put the volume rocker and power button back on the back and the fingerprint scanner will either be in screen or in the back like the K20, G4 so on!

I know it's more practical and maybe looks futuristic, but I can't escape the feeling phones like G6 and S8 have fake big screens. you tube looks ridiculous on them, and most others. I am simply not bought with new fancy bezelles Samsung and LG flagships. At all. I am even slightly dissapointed with both.

LG v20 is made out of Airplane Metal mostly Aluminum. The LG g6 is mostly glass with some metal. Bottom Line V20 is the Better Phone. And the V30 will be the Best Phone!!!!

The V series is LG's version of the Samsung Note or the iPhone+ phones some differences but mostly battery size and screen size being quite a bit larger along with newer tech that phones that they made/released earlier in the year did not get such as in screen fingerprint readers, stacked logic boards, 4K screen (able to have resolution scaled down to save power along with CPU & GPU load)! The V30 will be a scaled up and updated version of the G6 SD 835, 6GB or RAM, with a Stylus as good or betters than the Note 8, Volume rockers will once again be G4 styled on the back for easier one handed use and to keep their devices looking like original LG's, Will have a 2 or 4 times optical zoom camera and a wide angle camera with newest Sony Sensor and 13 megapixels Battery 4,250mah, Screen between 6.2 and 6.8 inch (Most likely to be 6.4 or 6.5 inch to rival the Note 9's screen!) Will keep Quad DAC and 3.5mm headphone jack and 4 super high quality mics for content creating, 4K recording with Optical Image Stabilization (weirdly if OIS & EIS are used together it is normally much worse than either one by itself!) on the back/rear cameras and EIS on the front facing 13 Megapixel Selfie Camera, Dual front facing speakers and may feature either a bottom or side firing speaker for Bass! Basically as I stated above the LG V Series are to be LG's answer to the Pixels Xl, Samsung Note's & the iPhone Pluses while the LG G range fights the smaller but still awesome Galaxy S, iPhone, Pixel phones!
