They are making them with R600 Compressors. Will have to use lock ring to install them . So far they are coming. I already had one this week a 2020 with Abbas R600 compressor. Btw I replace about 3-4 LG compressors R134a a day lmao

Bought it. Love it so far. The spherical ice cubes are the best. This is the first time my refrigerator is actually organized. Lots of room and everything stays fresher, longer. Love the app interface as well. Well designed.

I bought the sister model, everything is the exact same except the Round ice. I love mine, keeps food longer than anything I've ever seen. I wanted the spherical ice, but for a thousand bucks more, NOPE! These LGs we're nearly 5k when they came out. I bought a 7 year warranty just in case. Anyway, love mine!! Stunning fridges...

It's missing tw-three things actually: a tv or screen to connect to your phone so you can all watch the news in the morning on the fridge(not like there's anything on the news except the world ending), a camera inside the fridge and freezer so you can see what you need, and an automatic or voice controlled door closing operation

Bought it, Worth every penny!!! I was originally going to buy the instaview but I'm glad I saw this. I originally saw the instaview and really liked it but I couldn't find one with a water dispenser locally but my local Lowes had this fridge in stock and It was a little over my budget but i honestly think its a nice buy, I use my kitchen a ton so its an added bonus.

I had an LG fridge with linear compressor that died gradually over 5 years. As an engineer, I decided to repair it as a project and learn about refrigeration systems. When changing the compressor out, I found black powder within the refrigeration lines. It is the root cause of the compressor failure and a sign of a manufacturing issue: no inert gas purging when the lines were brazed causing oxidation of the copper lines. Anyone with just basic understandings of refrigeration system would know that, so it is hard to believe such mistakes can be made in a factory with good quality control, or it was done on purpose for build-in obsolescence. A casual search on google will show you how unreliable LG refrigerators are.
