I checked mine which is K430dsy and the LCD do not have IC in its flex cable unlike other variant.

it is much more difficult for the home DIY person to replace the glass only. best option is to just replace the whole screen.

yeah mine came with the LG logo hidden under some permanent coating which then created an unavoidable bubble when putting the protecting glass screen on. Kind of stupid. Maybe it was a fake LG logo then they got in trouble and kept selling the screens with the logo covered

I accidentally left phone in my jean's, and they were washed in my washer. I have been searching the web for two-three days now, and I have seen multiple sources say that if you hold the power button on your LG K10, and it vibrates, then this means that it initiated its start up sequence. My problem, however, is that my phone will vibrate when I hold the power button, but nothing shows up on the display. With all this in mind, does this warrant me buying and replacing the LCD and touch-screen, or do I need to just buy a new phone altogether? I need a fairly urgent answer because amazon only has five of the gold-LCD-touch-screen replacements for the LG K10 left. Thanks! Great video by the way!

Hello, Saltin!!!First of all, before you start replacing screens or components, you have to perform an ultrasonic cleaning, it is the procedure applied in case of wet phones, any piece that you replace the only thing that will do is to produce a short with each start. Quick question if you don't mind but did the phone actually work and turn on after you put the screen on after following these steps? I'm in the same situation right now my screen cracked not that LED screen just the glass screen I'm contemplating on buying the screen myself and replacing it myself it looks pretty easy but I've heard stories about once you take it apart and put it back on you getting no power pretty much a dead phone was that the case with you? thank you in advance for your time and your honesty
