0:38 Removing the back cover.
2:45 Dismantling the plastic covers of the motherboard.
4:49 Removing the plastic bottom cover of the motherboard.
7:05 Removal of a battery previously heated with hot air.
7:44 Moving components from the old to the new body together with the LCD display.

I cant remove the back cover of my lg k41s, should i heat it up with a hair dryer because i dont see you use heat? Its never been opened before

You don't need to heat up. It is removed by bending the latches in the rear casing. Use a scalpel or something thin to separate the back shell from the body first and then the guitar pick.

@@ShangXyou don’t need a heat gun for this replacement? I’m so glad I watched your video, an checked comments. Just ordered a new screen replacement an heat gun 😂

@@fenbay The battery needs to be heated to remove it. When putting it into the new screen though there seemed to be blue adhesive backing that probably should have been removed to secure the battery to the new enclosure.

@@SuperTechIT yeah, I noticed that after I watched other videos before this one. So, Im glad it wasn’t really a waste of money getting the hot air gun, that I thought I needed. Oh well, I’ll have to redo it again as I messed up the new screen using super glue (rookie mistake) when I reinstalled the new screen, as my order of adhesive has not yet come in. That’s okay though as the new screen was really cheap, an only costed me 36$. Again, thank you so much for the responses, an for making (sharing) this video!
