This procedure showed the replacement without frame. If you do with frame, basically instead of taking out the screen and replace the screen, you are going to transport all parts to the screen with frame. Depending on the phone this could be a much easier procedure, or a nightmare. With frame is desirable if your phone also has the frame beat up and you want to replace it, or if you are not good at sticking screen to a frame (some phones are super impossible to do), or if the phone has very easy parts to move around. Most LG phones are highly repairable and the difficulty between using one with frame and without frame can be ignored, so it's really just up to you if you also want to have the middle frame replaced.

This procedure is for no frame. If it's with frame you will be taking off all the parts and move it to the screen with frame, instead of taking the screen out and reinstall.
