I enjoy watching you troubleshoot, it's both an art & a skill, always something more to learn. I also repair an occasional TV I am here in US. Have you ever accidentally cracked a panel and if so, do you compensate the customer or do you tell them that you are not responsible due to the risk?

Sometimes I do tell them. If the customer's TV is 75 inches in size and it is a backlight problem, I refuse to repair it, one wrong move the panel will crack. Thank you for enjoying watching my video. God Bless.

What does the stone resistor you soldered to the fuse do? Can you show us how to make it?

It's power ceramic resistor, probably rated for about 20W. It will limit the current in case that there is still short somewhere. It is even better to use dim bulb tester instead of such resistor.

@@aknkurk3644 IIRC incandescent bulb for dim bulb tester should have about twice as power in comparison to tested device. Thus, for most LCD TVs 100W bulb will do the job. You may even make dim bulb tester with two bulb sockets in parallel and combine bulbs you need for specific device. There is a lot information about dim bulb testers out on the web, just search and you will find everything.
