I picked up the dual oven version yesterday. Got it from Best Buy as an open box, originally priced at 2400, on sale for 1900, walked out paying 890$, plus 159$ for 5 year extended warranty. I freaking love this oven!!

Nicole Paling we still love it. There are a few things worth bringing up. The temps needed to be adjusted, the bottom oven was about 15 degrees hotter, I searched on KZbin and found how to adjust the heat. Also, the beautified glass top changes after a few times cooking, hard to explain but it never looks like it did brand new. Lastly we have a small chip in the “stainless steel” paint right in front. If you are getting this oven at a fraction of the price it is a no brainer. Both ovens during thanksgiving and Christmas crushed it! It is beautiful to look at as well. Congrats on the purchase.

How do we use the downdraft in the back when cooking on the stove? Moved into a house with this stove last year and still can’t figure it out.
@mybobbleheads Жыл бұрын
As far as I know this stove model does not have a down draft vent. The vent at the top back is for venting the oven into the airspace above. I use a regular vent fan above the stove. A downdraft would have to be vented below and to the outdoors

I assume that you are talking about the vent at the back. You have to slide the stove out far enough to access with a screwdriver, approx 8-10 inches.. You need to remove the spacer plate if you installed it and then there are two more screws, top left and right that will allow the vent cover to be removed.

There may be some very small scratches but depending on your lighting situation you may not notice them. after you get used to how to clean a glass top it's not too bad. Hey Bob, I just had a problem with my Oven knob. It appears as if all the stove knobs have metal shafts but the oven knob has a plastic shaft for some reason. This shaft broke, and I am looking for a way to repair it.
@mybobbleheads2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I am not a parts or repair guy. I would start with a local appliance parts shop. I just checked mine and they are all silver except the oven which is black but when I take a magnet to any of them they are not magnetic so none of them are steel. They may be a type of aluminum or composite material. Often when electrical connections are behind a switch then for safety the components will not be steel to prevent shock. Whishing you luck on your part search and hoping it is not like a washing machine switch which can cost hundreds

Haven't had any troubles however it is quite the learning curve from an element style stove. My wife has things boil over a lot and can't seem to figure out how to get the heat low enough.
