Can you pair an LG Magic Remote with a non-LG magic remote TV? Like a 2022 LG Smart TV that is a budget model that doesn't come with one? Is it software or can it pair with any LG modern Smart TV? Thank you

No I didn't. I downloaded the LG remote app and worked my tv with the app. And the next thing I know my remote is working again

I had the same problem, it’s because the TV is connected to too many Bluetooth devices (iPhone, iPad, soundbar etc). You need to unplug the TV wait for a few minutes and plug in again and do the trick in the video to register your remote
