LG Magic Remote - WebOS 5 vs WebOS 6

I have an LG CT T.V, with the second remote (the one on the right). At first I thought the cursor feature would be a pain in the butt. However it is quicker for changing settings, where there's a massive list of things. It saves having to use the up and down buttons. Most of the time, I just press an up or down button to switch over to the regular way of using menus, the same way most other remote controls function.

I saw an LG Magic Remote in a shop today and it had a mouse style pointer! To me that is a great feature

My dad is looking at getting a LG tv, with the Webos 6 remote. It doesnt have the play/stop/pause/ff etc buttons. So, when streaming a film, how do you control the film? Thanks.

When trying to volume-down in the dark on the WebOS 6, it's too easy to click on home-page setting just below. Pain in butt!
