1:45 What a special gift. Turkish people entrust you with the person they love the most and the most valuable gift they can give. They identified you with Ataturk. Your sincerity about Atatürk penetrates everyone through that screen. This is very valuable.

Mapping army facilities is not allowed in any country. What is interesting on that. 10 pm alcohol limitation is not tight and you can find somewhere to buy if you need in any city. Also restaurants and clubs etc are not restricted by 10 pm. just market places. And most of them are not open after 10 pm already. About having an id card with you. This would not be needed %99 times of your daily life. In case if you would be in a situation that police would involve, you must prove who you are or police may take you in custody. Otherwise even if you dont have id with you in a control, you may give your ID number to officers and they can check. Not a big deal.

If you are caught buying alcohol after 22:00, the fine is 20 thousand TL and the fine for the business you bought it from is around 1 trillion with 1 billion old money. Is it tight? =))

Do you think Switzerland is a very liberal country? This is absolutely wrong. I live in Switzerland, where the sale of alcohol is prohibited between 22:00 in the evening and 06:00 in the morning.
@erdemsalcan463
@erdemsalcan463 4 ай бұрын
Then come to Türkiye with the same conditions and live here, why are you there? Why did you leave your country? The ban in Switzerland is not the same as the ban in Turkey. In Switzerland, alcohol is cheap and available in everyone's cupboard. People who go out to drink alcohol after 22:00 have already drank it at home and have run out of alcohol. They mostly prohibit drunk driving and going out with alcohol. In Turkey, people already drink 2 beers. It is difficult to get it. That is, because of the security and alcohol problems in Switzerland. If you examine the ideological and political ban in Turkey, you will see that they are very different from each other. In addition, Atatürk closed down the political parties established during his time, each with an excuse. He ensured that Turkey was governed by a single party. He openly stated that the reason for closing these parties was that they were parties that differed from his views. The party called CHP, as the only party, ruled the country as a dictator for years after Atatürk's death. This party (this party was founded by Ataturk) removed Ataturk's pictures from the money and removed Ataturk's statues from all over Turkey. In the elections, there was open voting in front of everyone. But the votes were counted secretly. How democratic is this?? In the 1950s, a new political system was established in Turkey. The chairman of this party was elected prime minister by a very large vote of the people. Ataturk's party killed this person by having him hanged from his throat with a rope. He was not guilty of anything. The judge who gave his death sentence said, "The power that brought you to this court wants you to die." This person was Prime Minister Adnan Menderes. Adnan Menderes enacted the law to protect Atatürk. But CHP, which ruled our country with a single-party dictatorship for years, executed a prime minister elected through democratic elections. CHP is overstaffed in the country. He used these staff to carry out anti-democratic coups. Democracy in our country was not brought to the country by Ataturk's party, CHP. Democracy came to our country with the price paid for the hanged, murdered prime ministers, ministers and closed political parties. These are the real ones. Most of what is said about Ataturk today is a lie. It is made up by those who use it. Ataturk is only praised. Atatürk could not become a part of history with his mistakes and truths. I think his soul is suffering.

There is a more interesting law. In Turkey, it is compulsory to wear a hat. Those who fail to cover up are guilty before the law and are punished with imprisonment. Ataturk banned wearing a fez and made wearing a hat compulsory. At that time, he killed thousands of people who did not want to wear hats by hanging them with a rope around their throats. It directly intervened in people's clothing styles and personal preferences. He used military force to ensure that everyone conformed to his ideas. Because the people living in the cities of Tranbzon and Rize said they did not want to wear hats, these cities were bombed by warships. Ataturk also banned Turkish music and the Turkish musical instrument SAZ. He also banned Classical Turkish music. People had to listen to Greek and Arabic radios that were close to Turkish music. This situation led to the emergence of the Arabesque music genre in the following years. Ataturk decided what was right and what was wrong and did not care about other people's opinions. He had those who opposed him killed. Although he did not have a religious degree, he made strange laws such as how religious rituals should be lived. He also banned all Islamic sects other than the Sunni Islam sect (such as Alevism) and closed their temples. He also had a very interesting and unscientific theory, called the Sun Language Theory, that all languages in the world were derived from Turkish. He had this theory taught at universities. His life ended in his 50s. He died in great pain, screaming, on a ship in the Bosphorus after midnight, due to liver cirrhosis due to excessive alcohol consumption. While he was initially a religious person, he turned to atheism towards the end of his life. Those who say they are Ataturkists today have nothing to do with Ataturk. They only use Ataturk for their own ideology. Ataturk was against most of these people when he was alive. In addition, Ataturk had himself elected president for life. Old people who describe his period say that Ataturk ruled the country with fear and oppression. They say that he does not respect people's culture, sanctities and personal preferences.

Actually, today people are free to wear anything including Fes.I even saw a few people wearing it. We Turks love and respect the memory of Atatürk so we dont need a law to love and respect him.But I can undestand this ban because even rarely I heard insults about Atatürk so this ban stops those ppl to insult about founder.Finally, the sale of alcohol after 10pm is not rational because in the past there wasnt a law like this.Additionally people can drink alcohol at restaurants between banned hours. As I said this ban should be removed.

I think the alcohol issue is not a big problem. First of all, this law is not followed very much, and the government does not pay much attention to it. Additionally, even though sales are prohibited after 22.00, you can buy as much as you want until 22.00. I think this ban was put in place mostly between 01.00-02.00 at night to stop drunk people who lost their nerve due to alcohol and attacked everyone.

At the high school I graduated from, the principal had Ataturk portraits painted on ALL the doors because he was tired of students damaging the doors. Thus, he could complain to the police about the students who damaged the door, on the grounds that they insulted Atatürk.💀 guess what happened? Not a single door has been damaged since that day lol😭
