I have hdmi 2.1 and ran dirt 5 which is a 120hz game but on game optimisor dashboard it says running on 60hz and also when u press video screen output on PlayStation settings it also says 60hz I have LG CS any suggestions in how to activate 120hz on game optimizer

I am also having no Luck with that.. it seems to have some issue in the game itself.. bcz the TV can play all other 120hz supported games with no issue at all. So no problem with the TV. Most likely this issue is with the game or PS5 itself.

Hgig is only for game optimizer mode..

And it will only kick in when hgig supported game is being played. Otherwise PS5 / Xbox default tone mapping is in action.

brother will lg oled g4 55inch give gud picture clearity of sd channels which is usually 480 p ,if not then what about 720p,?nd 1080p? as im going to buy g4 but our usage is ott+set up box. so im afraid if the tv doesnt show gud sd or hd channels then it will be problematic or sony bravia 7 will be really good at it? for set up box channels??sd,hd.✌️👍

@@Dexter-g4p go for it brother. The SD and sub HD looks perfectly fine. Don't worry at all. Normal Cable TV won't be that good. But if u r using set top box with HDMI then it will be perfect

There is a lg cx 48" I usually play from 1.5 meters and compared the sharpness of 0, 5, 10. 0 looks a little soapy from that distance, 5 and 10 look the same and clearer picture in games, I like the sharpness of 5)

I totally respect your opinion bcz you have first hand experience. But It seems 0 for 4k content and 10 for sub 4k is the way to go. If u are playing a game sub 4k then 5 or 10 is good enough. But 4k gaming 0 sharpness is the best. Bcz u will miss the fine details in 4k games. But again as I said in the video it's everyone's own preference . I am glad you shared your opinion. Thanks

Sharpness should be 0 imho

10 sharpness applies an anti-aliasing filter, but does NOT apply any actual sharpening. Counter-intuitively, 10 sharpness is effectively softer than 0 sharpness.

@@IKFactorycan you please explain sharpness a bit ? I have an lg g4 but to me, it looks a bit blurried or lacking detail. Almost like wearing no glasses when setting it lower than 25. It’s like I lose detail. When setting it at 25, the picture looks “cleaner” if that makes sense. So I must be doing something wrong. I’ve tried putting it at 0-10 and waited a few days as some say I have to give my eyes time to adjust, but I keep slowly crawling my way up till I reach 25 again. Thanks!

Good video. Pretty much same settings I use other than your sdr is way to dark for me. Peak brightness high an brightness 100 gamma 2.2

Se la nitidezza viene abbassata a 0 nel game optimizer, non è vero che avrai un’immagine più nitida. Anzi abbassandola a 0 l’immagine perderà dettaglio.

If you don't like sharpness at 0 then keep it at 10.. but as I said in the video, everyone has his own preference. Thanks a lot for your input.
