We just received the LG Optimus L9 from T-Mobile and have a few first impressions as well as an unboxing video to share with you. The Optimus L9 will launch on Oct. 31 for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new two-year contract. It has a plastic body, which isn't as premium as what you can expect from Sprint or AT&T's Optimus G, but you're not paying as much, either. The device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor that zips through Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right now, but it's not as fast as the processors you'll find in plenty of other smartphones these days. Plus, ICS is a bit stale compared to the buttery smooth Jelly Bean update that is hitting high-end smartphones in the coming weeks. tchno.be/Vwogu2

I had this phone for almost 3 years and i loved it. The only reason i now have a G2 was because the battery imploded due to a defect in the charging port. But honestly i had a great time with this phone and would give it a 8/10 for a mid range smartphone. :)

I got this phone its amazing.... picture quality is very crisp clear. It does have wifi also have wifi calling no lag no rebooting happening. The screen is very smooth :) awesome phone.

The camera is pretty great considering the price of the phone. It takes about 0.2 seconds to take a picture and has a variety of features: autofocus, touch focus, flash, 15x digital zoom, face tracking, geotagging, a timer, continuous shooting, and panoramic shooting. It also has a brightness meter and different color effects. To top it all off you can even take a picture by saying cheese.

of course. if it's a nexus you will have a much better chance of getting updates and supports but if you remember Nexus 1, they had major reception issues and both google and htc gave up on fixing that. So better chance of updates but I personally have had really bad experience with LG phones as an early adopter. that said, I'm totally getting sucked into the new nexus myself! haha

hi, it does not have a notification light, if you wanna answer whiout touch it look for aircall accept, airunlocker it woks really good, wave control, hovering controls, and for the battery download go power master, it show the battery on notification bar really useful, sorry but i dont speak english very well.

Its a damn shame Tmobile downgraded their version of this phone. Has a basic 4.5 inch screen instead of the 4.7 IPS and took away NFC compared to the international version :(

This seems to be a bit different between Europe version. I see this version have SD Card on other place than mine. I also notice this one have 4.5"? Mine got 4.7" I wonder why they are changing spec a bit. I made an unboxing on this phone in white version. Gr8 phone really for the price.
