We don,t have such windows in the Netherlands. Our windows open only on the lower side to the outside. How do we connect the hose to the window?
@LGUSASupport7 ай бұрын
Hello there! We understand your concern. For windows that open only on the lower side, you can use a window seal kit designed for portable air conditioners. This kit allows you to safely vent the hose through a partially opened window. If you need further assistance or specific product recommendations, please DM us. We're here to help! -Junel

@@LGUSASupport I don,t like that product to seal a window it looks so cheap. I more like a plexiglass front where we can put the hose trough but then a circle opening is more easy than the hose lg has in the Netherlands, here the hose is oval. Can we connect the hose without that oval pease at the end?

@@LGUSASupport is the filter washable? and what would the recommended upkeep for changing/cleaning filter and draining water be?
@LGUSASupport Жыл бұрын
Hi, Chlades. The Air filters are washable. Do not use Harsh cleaner or hot water and do not put it inside your dishwasher for cleaning it. Either use a vacuum to clean it or wash it under warm water and mild detergent. You can visit this link to know how to clean the filters properly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qai8mICfZ7GdaqM You can check out the Owner's Manual (page 24) for proper care and cleaning. ^Danee

Does this model have an auto feature where it shuts off when it reaches the temperature you put it at?
@LGUSASupport Жыл бұрын
Great question! For portable AC unit model LP0817WSR, the 'cool' mode will run the unit until the desired temperature is reached (anywhere between 60°F to 86°F). There also is a timer feature where it can shut off or turn on after a certain amount of hours. Please let us know if this helps or if you have further questions! ^Chris spr.ly/6056PuETi

What if I live in a basement apartment with no windows?
@LGUSASupport7 ай бұрын
Hey there. Here are some important points to keep in mind for using your portable AC unit: 1. Don't forget that portable AC units need an exhaust hose to vent hot air outside, but if there's no window, you can get creative with a wall vent or drop ceiling. Just make sure to find a suitable spot for the exhaust hose. 2. Before setting up your portable AC unit, ensure there's enough space for proper air circulation - it's important for efficient cooling! 3. Make sure to check for a nearby power outlet to plug in your unit for hassle-free cooling. 4. Keep in mind that portable AC units can produce a bit of noise and condensation, but don't worry - you can address these issues with soundproofing materials or by placing a drip tray underneath. Hope these tips help you make the most out of your portable AC unit! ^ Diego
