I like the phone a lot. But I don't play games. KZbin - Google Email etc...buy a screen protector and decent case plus keep it clean. Make sure you keep the apps from running in the background and it works fluid. I do most " big things " on my Windows PC so I'm happy with this phone. For the price it's extremely nice. The screen and size are perfect for me.

I'm with you. Have you checked the Android version on your phone recently ? My phone suddenly has Android 10 on it now and I don't know how that could happen.

I find it exasperating that there seems to be no fix to keep the backlight on in the callscreen and keep the keypad on. Once I got a menu and pressed speaker and the callpad disappeared and when I could enter no number it said no response received and hung up on me! Exasperating. I don't want to have to turn the phone back on every 10 seconds to see the callscreen keypad! How do you fix it?!!!

It's been a year since the last post. Hope you are still available. I have the LG Premier Pro LTE. And I wondered is this one you reviewed is lesser or an upgrade from mine? There is an Android app called "64" that will tell everything you thought you didn't need to know. Through that app I know I have Snapdragon, 64-bit, ARMv8. Here's the rip. It's actually a 64-bit arch but since it was sold in the time that there were still a lot of applications coming out in 32-bit it was sold in 32-bit mode. I suspect the salesperson went like , "Yes, it's 64-bit, but in 32-bit mode now so you can run all the current apps. But you can switch it when everything it 64-bit." It's takes a rocket scientist to switch it to 64-bit, EVEN, if it truly has all the native programs present it needs to go from 32>64. So the screen is cracked. I just found out it could take conservatively $70 for a repair. I can get this one you have for $39 refurbished. Even that seems a little high for a 2 year old, and old technology. But I didn't necessarily want to buy down. Apologies for the length here. So is it more than what I have?

Budget phone will gimp the OS due to the internal specs. Android 10 will require a little more horsepower under the hood

I've had this phone for about a year and a half, 2 days after I got it my front camera stopped working and I cant seem to find anything to fix it. I don't want to do a hard reset if I don't have to, I'd rather just get a new phone if that is my only option. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Please?! Thanks in advance! ❤️

I probably should have bought this over the moto g7 play because this has stereo speakers dual camera and bigger battery but the g7 play probably would be better with performance

Does this phone use verizon towers?? and does it have a blinking notification light to let you know you have a missed text of call???

Yes it does work on the Verizon network. I can't remember if it had a notification light. I would check, but I no longer have that phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 that my battery is dying is on it's last legs. I don't want to spend a lot on another phone. I mainly use it for Facebook and KZbin. @@dawntest5776 It's been a while since I used a Galaxy S6, but if you want a phone just mainly for social media then I would say this is a good choice. RAM is rather low, but it does have stereo speakers, a nice display, and good battery life. And yes you can add an SD card for more storage.

The Helio p22 is on par with the snapdragon 625. Swapping it out for a 450 would hurt the performance. At least it's a p22 and not an a22. Also it's not metal, the giveaway is it's back doesn't get cold. IDK why it says metal in the descriptions. It's also decent for gaming. I've got WOT blitz running at 40fps with everything on high.

I have to disagree with the P22 being on par with the SD625. I have a few phones with the 625 that, in my opinion, would blow away the P22, but I do agree that the A22 would be much worse. I have an unboxing coming out tomorrow or Tuesday that runs the A22, so I'm kinda interested to see how it does. Yeah I think that "all metal build" is a bit deceiving. I was just going by what the specs said.

@@cvtechreview IDK I had a phone with a snapdragon 425 in it which is sorta 1 step bellow the 450 and that thing was very slow and couldn't game at all. And at least according to notebook check the p22 keeps up with the 625 in a few tests.

Interesting that you mentioned the LG L455DL phone comes with Android 9 ie Pie I could have sworn that is what came with my phone but I noticed earlier tonight it has Android 10 on it now (?) Is that possible ?

When I go to my regular messenger, not facebook messages, how do I get back to home screen, I can't figure out how without turning it off and restarting the phone?

Any ideas why when I hit the start button to turn on the phone it opens a screen with a toolbar down the left side and an emergency call icon that has to be swiped to "unlock" position, then you swipe screen again to unlock and enter your password.

Also this charging cord is way too short! They could give at least 5 feet, but this looks more like barely 3 feet and hardly reaches from the floor to the desk. It pulls up stuff constantly which I don't want to see when just handling it. I want a phone that only pulls up stuff when I command it to.
