Not really. Newer CPU . However I heard black levels are a lil bit better but I don't have the 2023 so I can't tell. If you have the 2022 I don't see why you should upgrade.

I find this tv too bright and gives eye strain is there a way to turn down the backlight as it only seems to have panel brightness to turn down

I saw the 55 inch in Currys and it looked great. But I only have space for a 50 inch and I am stuck with a VA panel no matter what brand and model. Are there no 50 inch 4K TVs with IPS panels? I think I would like the dark blacks, but every review I have seen for a VA panel, the picture looks washed out. Buying a TV used to be simple, but not any more!

That was the only useful part. Instead of making us watch the demos or programs (which is pointless unless you are there) he could've investigated the upscaling or the 100hz motion feature.

My Son is playing on a cheaper TV...JVC android TV full HD was 250€ new....and I've tried the PS5 on this one as well... absolutely no difference, no performance just the big screen is the difference between them.... because JVC is 50inch... so, nothing special at all unfortunately 🤦

I have bought two televisions lately. This LG QNED 50" and unfortunately suffered dead pixels in two months. Later I bought a 55" Samsung QLED and the same thing happened. What happens to your panels? It's the fault of the product or the layers of panels and panels they have. Blooming and dead zones.

Has anyone some feedback on viewing angles (especially side angles) of 50" model? I am worried that it might has washed out image when viewed from angle.

Crazy that LG don't explain this or include it in the specs. Most if not all 50 inch TVs for some unknown reason use VA panels, which according to many, affect the viewing angles. They should give different model numbers for the VA panel.

This LG va pannel have TERRIBLE angles of view.. Not only colours going washed out but strange blood stain on faces - probably where is many red ccolour.

This is not local dimming just flashlight effect from corner. Its caused by VERY bad montage of panel. Too much pressure on montage in right/down corner is typical for chinese VA pannels producing for LG.

813 vs 823 is that 823 have something for Apple connection. Is only one difference in data sheet on LG. Both sux because when you shut down shityy local dimming, tv run GLOBAL dimming and You cannot shut this down. This cause darkening of screen when is darker scenes of film, and darkened when is bright. LG is so shitty.

My experience with this tv is very bad.. if you want to use it to watch satellite channels and videos from hard drive then this is a very bad choice.. the picture quality is not good .. blurry.. when I call the agent in my country the technician said that there is nothing wrong with the TV and show me their sample videos and some videos from online channels..I am looking to buy another TV ( so it is wasting money)..my advice is ( get another TV from other companies)

@@busrayesiltas3507 1. Internet connection no matter how Ethernet wired or Wifi is always lost every day. 2. The image... if I'm watching sport, football or something that is fast moving, you can see a shadow behind the subject like a ghost, or something like that because it can't describe otherwise! I've set up the best way for the sport watching but absolutely nothing good happen. 3. As a smart tv must when shutting on to appear the smart screen with all Apps, but instead is opening for the cable option to be used..but these days almost no one uses cable tv .... streaming and there you need to see the apps as the first option, that's my opinion...ya apps are pops up on the bottom for very short...few seconds and if you don't touch immediately it disappear and you must touch the home for apps again...for me this is inconvenient as well! 4. If you have connected for example a firestick, it is also annoying that when i go out for one app from LG it pops up the firestick to go ...but without touching any Taste... crazy tv. 5. The store for Apps, if you want to download an app but first you want to read what does this app and if you don't want that app and you have no other options but to touch the back button and instead to go in the store to see further the list with what did you searched...it goes total out on the main screen 🤦🤦 This tv normally Price was "2800€" but I bought it on BlackFriday last year for 1700€ but I'm telling you this tv is worth Not more than 500€ even for this 65inch. I've not so much time to describe more and clear but I hope you understand what i have written here! Tks for the question 👍
