Don't worry if the alarm starts beeping after you put the power back to your fridge. If is because the freezer warmed up, because of the power outage. Simply just press the freezer button on your display (on the door or inside the fridge, depending on the model) until it stops beeping.

If the fridge is new, why do we need to reverse the seal? I bought GBB72PZECN and it will be delivered in 5 days. I have to reverse the doors because of the kitchen-form as soon as the fridge is here. Do i need to reverse the seal also?

Apologies for the late reply. No you do not need to reverse the seal in that case. During usage of the appliance, the door rubber will become dented at certain areas, this effect increases over time. In case you do not reverse the rubber 180 degrees, there is a possibility of air leakage, because the door may not completely close at these dented areas. Or of course a new door rubber would solve this potential problem.

Is it possbile to order hinge somewhere? Here in CZE it is not possbile to buy it from Czech LG. You have to order mechanic which costs 70€ plus material.

Any idea what he's pointing out with the seals near the end? Is this necessary or a recommendation if the seals are different in 'bouncy-ness'?

I reversed the door on my fridge right now, and was asking myself the same question. Then I tried and realized, that the whole process is very easy to do, so I reversed the isolation on both doors, as in the video. The guy on the video seems like he knows what's he doing. After I put back the isolation, I double checked with my finger the isolation if it fits everywhere. So I would recommend to do it.

Cebutraveller , the insulation appears to be a different dimension so it needs to be flipped in order for the door to open and close properly as well as seal properly. Hope this helps.

Also all the parts necessary to make the switch are with the fridge so no need to buy any other parts.

It came with the fridge, in the same plastik bag as the warranty papers and user guide. Just unpacked my new one 10 minutes ago.

Non sono riuscito a invertire il pin per la cerniera superiore. Ho spanato il dado esagonale del pin per quanto era stretto forte. Non posso più svitarlo ora. Idee?

Use some protection around the pin, fix the plate and then use a grip plier to remove the pin. If still not moving, heat up a little. Any other possibility is ask Call Center for help.

LG awful customer service !! I was on hold for over 45 minutes was not able to talk to person. She kept wanting to send me to this video. This is not even the refrigerator that I have. She was told my model number. I want to reverse my doors, but top hinge is not reversible. All I wanted to do was ask if there was another hedge hidden somewhere inside of the refrigerator.

At 2m40 in this video we show how you can reverse the hinge on the top side of the refrigerator door. Hope this helps you out.
