It would run better if the exhaust headers ended in a collector, rather than being separate. The collection of parts is period correct to Kate forties.

Yea gauges are hard. Vintage ones are so expensive, new ones are poor quality. What do you do?!

Great period car. What did you do for a steering box? I'm trying to figure out mine in my Av8.

It is a 1939 Ford steering box mounted below the frame rail, and turned sideways. I clocked to pitman arm to point straight up, which made the drag link almost perfectly parallel with the wishbones. Compared to the stock model A box, it feels like power steering and has zero bump steer.
