i used to have exact same machine when i was in my old house until 2013, although mine was not only older than this (mine was from 2001) but also different: only 4 programs, 4 water level, having extra wash option but following model it was replaced with air spin dry, "turbodrum" logo on mine was different. other than that this is one of my childhood washer, i haven't seen it for a long time until now. i prefer old turbodrum ones to their new ones which now have inverter motor, even the inverter belt drive ones LG has been making since 2017 aren't as great as this

I agree with your comment. Not a huge fan of current inverter belt models. I did like the direct driven models as there is less to go wrong and I know people that have them still working perfectly after 14-16 years. And others who have the belt models only got 10-12 years out of it. But saying that the Korean made LG were the best the current Thailand made ones not so much but they are still decent machines.

How did you manage to video with the lid open? On mine an alarm goes off and it won’t operate with the lid open.

@@alastairgordon-forbes3139 you need to put a small magnet just the front centre where the lid sits. That will trip it so it will run with the lid open
