Hello, I tried the T-con test and did not show any half picture. Will that mean the power supply might be defective?

Before changing anything, my LG60PA5500 would operate as normal, then turn off. After a bit of time it would turn on again and function normally. Like something was over heating. Got a different power board and now it "glows" but doesn't function. No red LED either.

Actually I have the LG32LK540BPUA. First thing I did was to check my power cord. Found a defect at the end of the power cord. Replaced the power cord with a brand new one. Where you plug that end into tv. Also replaced the main board. So, now I turn on the tv. My audio is working great. However, I still have a dim picture. When I do the flash light test. I can see the picture some what better. What is my next step? Replacing my Power Supply Board? Suggestions anyone? I would apperciate any help. Thank you!

Mine works for about 5 seconds full lighting picture etc..then it goes black and you can see the images only with a flashlight..this seems different from having no back lighting from power on..does this change the focus of trouble shooting since the leds themselves do fully power on then turn off?

Same here, about 5 seconds. If I understood this video right, is he suggesting it most likely would be the power board failure?
