Thank you for showing the remote. I just bought a Samsung 50" at Costco and returned it due to the overwhelming complexity of the remote. I'll go back to Costco and get this LG for my bedroom. LG is the brand that I currently have and I'm familiar with.

Hi Juan, thanks for doing this video. I am considering this TV. I was wondering if you have any feedback on glare in usage in a bright room? In other words, how well the TV handles glare from sunlight in a bright room? Thanks.
@JuanCamacho216 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. As for the glare, it does good in my room with recessed lights. But every room is different. Some people use lamps, some have windows near by, etc.

I bought a 48" Samsung 10 years ago with quad processor 4K UHD and 120 hertz refresh rate paid $650.00 for it then, gave it to my daughter she needed a TV and bought and 55" Sony which sadly to say just died, which kicks me because the Samsung is still going strong, with her, husband and 3 kids beating the hell out of it.

Our Vizio 60 inch plasma TV extended warranty DID pay for itself; it required a new circuit board (screen was black), and the technician had to come from 60 miles away to replace the board. Please explain why you would NOT recommend it for a living room. Also, what kind of display technology does it have? I read that OLEDs dim with time, and that mini LED TVs are probably better in that regard.
@atlantafalcon96457 ай бұрын
I will never buy another Vizio product. I’ve had 2 Vizio TV’s and a sound bar crapout after a year. Designed to fail. My LG has never failed me. Sound and picture quality is excellent.

I'm tempted of getting the 86" UR80. I currently have a 65" OLED A2. Will it be a worthy upgrade, or will the difference in picture quality not justify the size increase?

@ 1:15 you make mention that everyone should consider a UHD TV. I would disagree. It depends on what you watch. If you mostly watch low resolution content like what a cable box puts out, a 3840X2160 (4k) TV will look pixelated unless you buy a TV that has great processing like most Sony's. If you plan on using the TV as a PC monitor, then it depends on how strong your graphics card and cpu are. However, if you mostly only watch high definition (1920X1080) then a 4k TV in most cases would work. Just wanted to add that to the conversation. Thanks for posting about the LG UR80, we are considering a basic 75" from Costco and this is a possibility. I am curious if it has always on BLUETOOTH that you cannot disable like our LG C1's we use as pc monitors. Or if it will force an ad in our face every time we turn the TV on. I suspect all LGs do this now but not 100% sure. Our Sony 55X85J and our 65X81J allow: -bluetooth to be disabled -disabling personal information gathering -no ad upon startup but the home screen does contain ads Unfortunately, the new base model Sony 75" model starts at $850! This 75" LG UR8000 at Costco is $650 (the previous model is $500 but hundreds of 1 star reviews say it is extremely slow when doing anything so it is a NO GO).
