In 2022 I'm still getting 6hrs on screen time. I have newer phones too V40 and V60. The V35 is still a great phone now! Nothing runs poorly. Screen still gorgeous. Everything runs as well and looks like it did when brand new in 2020. My only complaint is the speaker is anemic. Weaker than my even older LG G6. Plug in headphones and you're good however. Killer sound from Quad Dac. I Also love the lightness and size of this phone. Compact compared to the others I have. For people that don't need the latest can still get great use of V35 even in 2022. I'm running android 9 but I think you can get A10 if you're in the US. I'm in Canada so AT&T phones can only be updated in the US.

Hold on a second do you seriously not know that especially in phones that less dense is less quality and less expensive it's like saying which is more premium titanium or plastic? Diamonds or pearls? The more dense pretty much anything out is determines it's value because more dense means more of it and with phones more dense means more durable and better looking. I do not understand your logic?

Hey Donavon, I'm considering the v35 or the pixel 2 or 2xl. The reason is the speakers. The LG looks great as for specs, but the boom speaker is an issue. @CarlosRuizVideo6 жыл бұрын
To me, something feels solid if it doesn't bend or cracks when I squeeze it. I feel light weight as perk, not a problem. For example, I would spend twice the price on a carbon fiber tripod (for my camera) because it's solid and lightweight. Same thing would apply to laptops, I hear reviewers praising Apple for the MacBook air because it's light. Nobody says it feels cheap, so why the double standard when it comes to phones?
@michaelashe52656 жыл бұрын
I just read this on Android Authority's website for their LG V40 review, this is not a joke: "LG prides itself on keeping its phones extremely lightweight, and the V40 continues this trend. I like denser, heftier phones - they give me the sense I’m actually getting value for my money - but I can appreciate the engineering that went into making the phone so light. Sure, this is extremely subjective, but this is a review, after all. I like my phones heavy." "I LIKE MY PHONES HEAVY". I'm speechless.

It goes deeper than that. NO software support, security updates late, still on Android 8.0 in almost 2019. Also, your reference to aftermarket launchers as "ugly" shows a shocking lack of either taste or understanding.
@orizinal97506 жыл бұрын
@@johnfreeman440 first lg will get pie soon. And it's fine without it and I would pick the v35 or the v40 over a pixel phone anytime. Yes and the launchers are corny and nerdy. The lg skin feels way better than the skin on a pixel. LG is better than pixel so I guess u have no taste. More people buy lg and Samsung which have the same software and animations. Only thing good on a pixel is the camera which isn't even better than lgs. Especially manual mode.
@Technocrat.5 жыл бұрын
@@orizinal9750 For companies like LG it takes longer to get updates out, why? Exactly because they software is so unique on their phones, the look and feel. IF they just throw out a update, LG would look just like rest of the phones out there running stock android. My Essential Phone gets Security and updates every month, sometimes 2 times a month, same time pixel gets theirs. But its a stock android feel. LG feel is more like shiny jewels. Can't just update with new os, they want to keep their uniqueness.

@@chigginskeywest Thanks. I'm in Asia right now and this phone (and the Asus ZenFone 5Z alternative I found) are hard to find. LG seem to have stopped marketing the V35 and flooding the market with new models (not necessarily better). See V40, G7 and some recent ones. Searched eBay and a few come up in USA. Nothing in the usual Hong Kong etc.

It's a steal! Your timing is perfect! If you have another $40 USD ,you can get a brand new Open Box V40 on ebay but V35 is very close specs -wise. V40 has 6.4" screen,an extra telephoto cam and boombox feature. V35 is a 6.0" and no boombox. I just bought V40 and plan to buy V35 too to use as tablet bcuz you can get them on eBay refurb for $120 with just the odd little scratch. I will likely use V35 as business phone. I'm gonna do same in a year or two. Buy 1 yr old tech for $700 off latest and greatest price.
