Even this is one of 3 very last LG smartphones aside LG Wing and LG Velvet but LG V series are Audio Greatness much better than Samsung and Apple as the audio chip is real high-end HI-FI Quad DAC by Bang Olufsen. Snapdragon 865 will survive for the next 10 years and it's heaven to modify to hack to the max ;) I can never forget 2006 "LG Prada" as I bought it for my ex and "LG Chocolate" for my sister's birthday. They were most iconic phones back then aside "Motorola Razr Dolce & Gabbana". While I was using 'Sony Ericsson Walkman Series Phone, Symbian OS P1i, and Windows Mobile Xperia X1" I was everything Sony even my camera to my laptops were Sony. 😁 South Korea's First and Most Innovative in Everything (Not Samsung) LG and Sony are the original while Samsung, Apple, etc are just followers. World's frst OLED Screen is by LG even for Sony devices. LG Prada is the original smartphone Apple has copied for their first iPhone. LG collaborations are big: LG + Hyundai, LG + Bang Olufsen, LG + Meridian, and so on. LG-Hyundai Indonesia the biggest in Asia Pacific

It has 4 built in microphones for awesome live sound recording, expandable storage, the headphone jack is negotiable but really comes in handy when diving into audio recordings with good headphones, the 5g capability is a huge bonus, they replaced the ir blaster (which I loved) with whole home lg smart device connectivity (control everything from your phone), ip68 rating, and all at a good price. I have the LG V60...but I got the S22 Ultra back in March 2022...As of February 2023 I decided to move back to my old LG v60 for a few reasons... 1. The LG V60 still has better battery life, I get consistent 8-9 hours screen on time. Compared to the s22 Ultra that gives me 5-6 hours, and thats on FHD+ and 60hz setting. 2. I still prefer photos taken on the V60. The S22 Ultra colors are more saturated and dont have Ultra Wide Correction. Also shutter lag on the S22 Ultra is anoying and its an expensive phone to have that problem. 3. The V60 still has more powerful speakers compared to the weaker s22 Ultra. 4. I got a 1TB Sandisk Ultra Pro SD card for cheap that I put in my V60. But using the s22 Ultra for about 11 months then jumping back to the V60, I actually like the more natural colors on the V60. And going down from 1440p screen to a 1080p screen isn't really noticeable to me.

There's just no reason to move on. There might be moondrop's phone but hardware qa and software is not their strong point and who knows how well it'd work in the US.

Camera has an awesome user-friendly manual mode (yes, you can fully control your image capture!) and shoots in RAW which is unique and very useful for creative people. Quad DAC is amazing. Highly functional dual screen case with magnetic rapid charging adapter. Expandable memory up to 2TB. And the irresistible part is we got EVERYTHING for half the price of the competitors' flagships. LG Mobile was the best brand available before they closed operations. In my opinion, Apple and Samsung are good, but highly overrated for their inflated cost. Also, LG was found to have a more ethical manufacturing process than the larger companies.

@FAT88932 жыл бұрын
Desktop Mode on Android is not new since Samsung, Huawei, and Honor already has similar feature. It's just that they always keep it hushed to business and enterprise customers only. What LG managed to do is bring that feature to general mainstream's midrange-tier smartphone with the Velvet 5G. For me, the Velvet 5G is still the best midrange-tier smartphone to date for bringing active stylus support, optional Dual Screen case, and Desktop Mode support.

Photos are more accurate. Apple/Samy love to over saturate their camera's. Another thing overlooked is the microphone performance (4 of them!!). I mean Samsungs sound like total garbage in comparison. If you like taking videos this is a big deal. Plus the headphone with quad dac is really something else. When the V60 was launched in 2020, it has an RRP of $799. To put that in perspective, the cheapest Samsung Galaxy S20 cost $200 more than the V60, and you don't get a headphone jack with Quad DAC audio and active stylus support. Even if you opt for the optional detachable Dual Screen case, that is still $100 less than the S20. Nowadays, you can get one with its Dual Screen case for around $400.

See I would have approached this much differently, firstly LG Flagship devices still have features and Hardware advantages current devices still ignore. The quad DAC, the four high-def microphones, the manual controls and flexibility on the entire camera system, the speakers are one Watt balanced surround sound. The expandable storage alone separates it. The battery life being 5 000 m a h. The video camera capabilities in combination with those amazing microphones make for some of the best audio separation I've ever heard on a phone. I know 8K is considered a gimmick but the fact you can get 24 frames per second at the same time is still way ahead of multiple high-end camera systems. LG was doing 4K 60 way ahead of everybody else.

My charging port is going bad and my dual screen case is random at best now is it worth getting fixed or should I move on?
@SicErikTech2 жыл бұрын
It's probably worth replacing the USB port. Unfortunately, using the dual screen case loosens the charging port causing the issue

Hi everyone, Hows the sound output through 3.5mm jack compared to lg v40, lg v60? ESS sabre dac is there but which one sounds better? Does it have low sound issue? Like in v40 you have to use a dongle to trick into high gain... Is v60 tuned by meridian audio house?
@btruong200810 ай бұрын
Thank you for the great video! I can't agree more. In fact, V60 is a well-balanced phone with one thing that stands out: audio (quad DAC).

I started with V10, V20, V30, V40 (missed V50 as LG didnt took care to land it at EU) and. Now Im babying my EU version of V60 like my own child. If anything happens to my V60 - it will be a huge loss, as even at the start of Y2023 there is no real alternative to it...

Got one recently from Amazon for 300. Came virtually brand new. I have the Note 10+ but the super bright, flat screen on the V60 just blew me away. Hard to believe its only 1080. And can we say headphone jack?! I tried out a Note 20U also for double the price which I was less impressed with and sent back. My only gripes are is the camera just kinda meh to my N10+, and I am kinda worried long term since theres so many reports of the charging port failing.

I bought it used from US with the 2nd screen but it could not work for some reason with the local service provider, I tried 2 different ones before having to send it back, I thought about keeping it as a tablet but it would have been greatly diminished usability for the price. Major Bummer at the time.

I like the dual screen. There is a screen rotator 2nd on the playstore that forces the screen to rotate. You can lock the screen etc. When I first upgraded to android 12 nothing worked but everything is finally normal.

I enjoyed this video! I have a LG V60 that has been sitting collecting dust for a long time. I got the V60 to replace my Pixel 3A but after using the V60 for a few months I missed the Pixel screen call feature so I went back to my 3A and now using a Pixel 5A 5G. I occasionally look at my V60 and think of activating it and use for a while but I don't. Best Duane

Great phone except that the Hotspot keeps disconnecting network service. I have two LG v60 phones and both had the same problem. Works fine on my lg8. Switch over to galaxy s20 ultra and no problems with Hotspot. LG v60 however has more customization than the galaxy which I miss.
