Hi, I have a question, I have a LG washer showing a tE code, so I located the thermister that was just hanging down still connected, so I installed a brand new thermister and connected it, everything looks brand new on this washer, it has no heating element, it's model WM2250CW, and what it's doing is just lighting up and playing the jingle all fully hooked up and still won't do anything with a small load in there? I had a guy at sears parts tell me that I would need to install a new motherboard? It looks fine. What do you recommend? I'm stumped, and really don't want to scrap this LG front loading Washing machine. Thanks

I wonder what you do after you replace the entire heating element with the new thermistor attached and you still get the te error?

If you still get same problem. Check your connectors, wires and possibly look into main control board ✌️

Thanks, checked my gasket, but weepholes were full of dirt. Water was sitting in bottom of gasket. Cleaned out weepholes and gasket, no fault anymore.

Does a washer ever "self-destruct" when it is spinning at 20 times a second? Will a vinyl repair kit be OK for a torn door gasket? Thank you for the advice to homeowners!

Good morning, It does not and I have never used Vinyl kit repair kit for gasket but I have used bicycle tire repair kit and it works perfectly fine with lil small holes . Thank you!

I have a LG Washer like this but model WM2250CW with this pesky tE error code. I have the front cover off the washer, but haven't tracked down the problem yet! I have a new thermister for it, but hopefully I won't need it and I can return it to Amazon in time for a refund.
